There is a website called "The Laryngectomy Site" which provides easy access to information for anyone who will or has undergone a total laryngectomy, and their family and friends. The website laryngectomy.info/ is available in seven languages and provides articles, videos, interviews as well as valuable downloadable checklists. There is a section tailored for Family & Friends (the supporters) and a section for patients. The latter is divided into chapters Pre-surgery, Surgery, Hospital, At home, and Laryngectomy life. On the other hand, the Provox FlexiVoice is made to work well with a LaryTube and is intended for patients who've had a laryngectomy. Each valve has features best suited for the particular type of surgery it's designed for, so they're not interchangeable.
