Sherlock is turning into a beautiful puppy. His coloring and markings are exquisite. After all he has been through, losing both of his brothers how will you ever give him up?❤
We always try to do what's best for the dog. If that means placing him with a family that will give him more attention and care than we can, then that's what we will do.
Breeder queston: are Apple's complexities with this litter likely to be a oneoff and will she have another litter one day? Sherlock is growing so quickly and Apple is such a loving mother.
This would not necessarily rule out another litter for Apple. My experience has been that problems with one litter do not necessarily mean that the same thing will happen the next time.

I don't think I'd be a very good tiny puppy human! I head one little peep out of that puppy, I'd be rushing over to attend to the puppy, picking him up, cuddling him, petting him. Probably not the best thing for the puppy. He's so cute.
One of his brothers was stillborn, and the other died of aspiration pneumonia after a couple of weeks. However, his mother is in the pen with him overnight and during large parts of the day, and we have him with us on a regular basis.

How is the “swimmer’s syndrome” remediation progressing?
Coming along well, but his right front leg is still not coming under his body as it should. We're taking him to a Physical Therapist this week.

He's moving pretty easily, but we are taking him for physical therapy this week so he can use his right front leg better.
He probably hates being on his own.Dogs are pack animals.
