Diocesan Priest Responds to the Vatican’s “Final Solution” for the TLM

- This diocesan priest will not "sign the oath" that is the imminent Vatican document set to further restrict and crush the celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass. As for himself, he will follow the example of saints Thomas More and John Fisher, who were faced with a similar document during a similarly dark time in the Church's history, yet who "made the right choice", even though they stood alone, and even unto death.
Please Note: Father gave this sermon on June 23, 2024, two days before The Remnant's Rome correspondent obtained confirmation that the document in question does exist, and does forbid Bishops from granting permission for the celebration of the TLM, effectively cutting off 75% of Latin Mass availability in the United States alone. Or was their lack of opposition contributing to immense evil and the destruction of the Church? A European Freemason who hated the Catholic Church once told a priest that his organization would one day destroy the Church. "Impossible" said the priest... "how could you possibly accomplish that?" "Easily" said the Freemason... "through your commitment to obedience." The Mason knew that if the Church was rife with a hyperpapalism that allowed all power to reside in one leader without checks and balances - then all the enemy had to do was get a Modernist onto that throne. If the whole hierarchy and the laity sheepishly obeyed his authority - despite his perverting of the Magisterium he is sworn to uphold - then the whole Church would follow him into decadence and destruction. Only the childish and the delusional think there is no principle higher than a man on the Vatican throne.

Marcel Lefebvre was known for his prideful demeanor. Regarding the liturgy prior to Pope Pius V's bull Quo Primum in 1570, it is questioned whether this decree nullified 1570 years of Christ's work. It raises the question of whether Marcel Lefebvre, his traditionalists, and the FSSPX could be considered traitorous apostates.

I envy those who had the privilege to learn Latin and attend the TLM Masses . I pray that the Catholic church and those Priest who propagate the TLM mass be protected by Jesus .❤❤❤
What everyone is missing to point out, is WHY the TLM is so important to not be banned. It’s because of the efficacy of the words, prayers and rituals of that Mass, and the graces that flow from it. Including the Latin language itself. Exorcists have said how the demonic, hate the Latin of the Catholic religion. Well, there must be a really good reason why.

Very wrong It was the worship said in the Temple in Jerusalem that Jesus and His Apostles attended. His Death Prayers said by the Jews. The Temple fell because it was the end of the Symbolic Paschal Lamb Sacrifice. He Jesus became the Sacrifice.
The TLM is not just celebrating in Latin but can be in English, Spanish, French or vernacular. The format is kept but the language can in different languages. Maybe this is the solution. I hope this will ease the tension between Catholics. Why people dig their heels in instead of finding a solution. Surely, Jesus did not speak Latin, nor he has a favorite language, God speak the language of the heart. Yes, people and the devils might favorite Latin, but I don't think God is partial at all.

Thank you for posting this. There is so much talk online of obedience to the authority of the Pope even if he makes decisions which go against the teachings of Christ and His Church for over 2000 years. Pope Francis’s banning the TLM is a direct reflection that he thinks it’s merely tradition for tradition’s sake and pomp and circumstance , and wants to get rid of tradition and embrace a modernized, all inclusive religion, where there is only acceptance of one’s OWN moral beliefs. That, removes the authority of Christ and elevates man, to them being their own God. That, is not Catholic, but New Age philosophy, and fits right in with the new world order philosophy, where a select few think they are gods and can dictate how mankind should live. Diabolical in every sense.

I live some 50miles from where st Jonn fisher was brought up in Yorkshire,some ,25 miles from st Margaret clitheroes home in York and a further 30on to where st Nicholas postgate exercised his ministry ,all in our county ..all suffered martyrdom,for rejecting the false protestant faith...things seem to be coming to a head perhaps the final pass. If we are facing a general onslaught on the faith,it may signal the end of all things..but if not ,we may hope for gods intervention through sufficient witnesses and leaders and unexpected circumstances ..well done father ,for showing true american honesty and robust manliness ..our martyrs will help you to help the rest of us

Important distinctions of the traditional Latin Mass are that the presiding priest acts in the person of Jesus Christ facing the altar praying to God the Father and by using Latin which is an unchanging language.
But the Priest does not "preside". He offers the propitiatory sacrifice.
This "Final Solution" rings horribly of Heinrich Himler and Adolph Hitler and their ill fated "final solution". God save us all, in Jesus name we pray.

It's called Breton Scene (1838) by Alphonse de Boisricheux. During the revolution in the Vendee, faithful Catholics in Brittany would meet at night and hold secret services on boats.

So the Catholic church in the U.S., like many American institutions, wants to go backwards instead of forward. People are leaving the church because they see it and many clergy and congregations are wasting their time on trivial issues. It's all about appearance and not about the teaching of Jesus. The structure of the church was decided originally by the Roman emperor Constantine and leaders who supported him. The council of Nicaea in 325 chose what religious texts and traditions would be used. So it's a man made construct and it had as much to do with political power as with religion. One thing about religion that has been a constant is the hypocrisy and divisiveness.

Obedience is only necessary to legitimate authority. Bergoglio does not have legitimate authority. Even if he did, even if he were pope de jure as well as being pope de facto, his exercise of authority in the current context would be illegitimate. He must be resisted and can lawfully be disobeyed. We have no shortage of 'cancelled priests' to say the TLM and to travel to TLM Mass Centres, and it is clear that a new wave of TLM Mass Centres will now be constituted across the World. The Church is in a State of Emergency, and the usual disciplines and canonical norms do not necessarily have force in these specific circumstances where Necessity and Economy become operative. I also predict a new wave of episcopal consecrations, very soon, which will be necessary to generate new priests and to supply the sacraments. In a State of Emergency, the lack of a papal mandate is of little significance (cf. the consecrations that necessarily took place 'underground' during the Communist tyranny). We are about to enter the 'end game'.
Disobedience to any Pope and Papacy is disobedience! These Priests and Bishops made a vow to God and to the Church to Obey the Pope! They will give account for their disobedience!

We must remember that Saints John Fischer and Thomas More proved their loyalty to the Pope-not to Henry. One would assume, therefore, that they would do the same in this case, as painful as that would be. They would never stand against the Vicar of Christ.

That is the exact point this priest is making. And it even says in the capsule summary above "This diocesan priest will not 'sign the oath'...." and he is exhorting his fellow TLM priests to do the same!

I can't see how a similarity can be drawn between King Henry VIII and the Holy Father Pope Francis regarding the refusal of obedience by St. Thomas More. The former was not the head of The Catholic Church, and therefore the refusal was legitimate, whereas the latter is indeed the legitimate head, and as such any refusal is groundless!

The Pontiff by decree of Vatican I has authority over this matter. Pope Benedict XVI said that the Novus Ordo and the TLM are the same Rite. It is completely permisable to say the Novus Ordo in Latin. Read Vatican I Doc Chapter 3 if you want more information. Pope Francis is not King of England.

Archbishop Vigano is not in tune with the promptings of the Holy Spirit, he relies on his human intellect and wisdom,. Pope Francis' mind and heart and soul is indeed deeply committed to listening to what has happened and what's happening with our world and humanity.. Pope Francis is not just an intellectual person, he possesses a deep insight about human life.. Archb Vigano is an intellectual giant, period..
