- LeBron James played basketball for St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, and was heavily touted by the national media as a future NBA superstar. A prep-to-pro, he was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft.
Named the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year and leading the team to the NBA Finals at age 22, he soon established himself as one of the league's premier players, winning the NBA MVP award in 2009 and 2010.

People disrespecting LeBron for the decision has to be the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. He had no help and his 2 MVP awards were wasted by a bad team and a small market team. His OWN TEAMMATE even SLEPT with his mom. He’d had enough of his franchise, and people should’ve put more thought into why he left before they started complaining.

I feel like if they brought in 1 good player for Lebron he would of won the nba finals but they didn’t appreciate him.
