I've said it before, and I'll say it over and over again until my face turns blue: One of the absolute best players in NBA history to never win a ring. It angers me so much to this day that the Sixers were never able to build a championship squad around A.I., especially when you realize the 1998 pick could have been either Dirk or Pierce.

What is inefficient exactly? How do you draw the line? Going by current day guards, I guess you have an argument, everyone is shooting 5 3s per game atleast, that can make a percentage look alot better than it is, but by standards of his time, compared to other guards, there was nothing "inefficient" about him at all; nice troll comment though.

Its not to many Teams & Philly had both of them when Philly started going to tha playoffs in 99.. Aaron Mckie & Eric Snow provided that.. When AI went to play for Nuggets,Pistons, Memphis there rosters wasn't set up with Players like A Aaron Mckie or Eric Snow.. The Early Sixers had Defnse set up around AI.. Snow,Mckie,Lynch,Hill, Motombo or Theo Ratliff so AI could play tha passing lanes on Defense & Pretty much on Offense take any shot he wanted because they neva really had 2nd option that could score

Allen Iverson is a perfect example of a player who was just never in the right situation to win a championship. People look at Iverson's efficiency and argue he's a ball hog, however, who was the best teammate Iverson ever had during his prime? Legit, the best teammate Iverson had during his Sixers tenure was an older Mutumbo, who was still a good player, but not enough to lessen the offensive burden off of Iverson.
Iverson's most efficient season was the final year of his prime, his season playing with Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets, where he had someone to take the scoring pressure off of him.
