Hey man, great video. There are 3 things that I want beginners to keep in mind too.
1. The longer the board, the harder it is for freestyle tricks.
2. Learn your steps and tricks in different stances (especially switch). It will make life much more enjoyable when you get the hang of it.
3. If it rains, don't worry. You can always practice stationary manuals in your house. You can also get the trucks off and carpet board and learn dance steps stationary first.

Thank you! I saw advice on a different channel that said to try the tricks without carving first, and then work on carving later, but the balancing is definitely tricky. I guess different approaches work for different people. Thanks for sharing other longboarders as well! Great video!
Hmm yeah to each their own. In my experience , learning it without carving first won't help much once you do start to carve with it. But if something works for someone, it's great :) There's never 1 right way in longboarding, that's what makes it great.

Great that you are back to making videos! One thing I have noticed is that when I try dancing steps on my carving longboard, the grippy grip tape makes turning the feet on the deck difficult. Tips on good use of grip tape would be a nice future topic!

Started longboarding on my friends board and they thought I was a liar when I told them it was my first time riding one because they said I looked pretty good on it...... I can't keep up with the speed as well but I know that will come in time. But I bought my own dancer board and can't wait to try out the beginning 4 step trick things

I already skate but I gotta freestyle longboard for Christmas and it’s actually a very nice board but apparently I was pretty pricey but I’ve learned how to Ollie and it’s actually so much more difficult than a normal skateboard
Oh that's cool! Well congrats on learning to ollie it already, that's not easy. Your skateboarding will help you a lot :) Also, ollies are one of the tricks that are very different and more difficult imo, others will come easier probably.

Longboard dancing looks super zesty at first but it’s actually really awesome once you get good.
I have some gull wings on mine I like it but it carves heavy. Do you think single reverse bearings trucks are better for longboard dancing?

I want to kearn longboarding so i can dasnce one day! But, If I've never skated before, should i try a longboard for dancing or would it be harder to learn basics on such a big board?
Hey i've been thinking to try this for a long time, i weight around 70 kg and bit bulky, i mainly skating bowl but sometimes skating street too. I've already tried downhill longboarding few years back for about 1 to 2 years but i think that's not for me. Do you think i still have a chance for at least do the basic combination?
Yes for sure! There’s nothing that i read that will or could hold you back
Do you have any tips for ollie-ing a longboard?
They're a billion trick tips for an ollie on a skateboard, but only one or two for a longboard.

can you please make a video on a bit more advanced steps or lines. I've learnt all the basic steps last year and I don't know what to learn next.
As a start, try learning all your steps fakie and switch! For example reverse Peter Pan, backwards cross step and etc just for starters. Even pirouette can be done in 8 different directions! (Regular, reverse, fakie, fakie reverse, switch, switch reverse, switch fakie, switch fakie reverse) I would recommend axle’s video on all the dance steps for inspiration.
