Your hot dog bar looks amazing . It would be a hit for all ages. So many toppings to chose from and so colorful.
When I make potato salad I put them in the Instapot whole (baking potatoes) on HP for 20 min. Then do a quick release. Put the potatoes on a towel on the counter to cool and cover them with another towel and they are perfect for next day. I boiled for years but when I figured out the timing in the Instapot game changer. I do the eggs same day in the Instapot.
A pro tip I learned from my grandma is to add some pickle juice to the potatoes a while before preparing the potato salad and let them soak it up. Boosts the flavour!

we noticed when doing potato salad add the mayo to the spuds when they are still a bit warm then put it in the fridge OMG the taste difference is so good. it makes it creamier and if the spuds soak up the mayo too much we add more when its chilled, we rarely have to!

On your Mac salad, do your usual veggies but, stir mayo and sweeten condense milk together. Just judge your amount for moisture you want. Great flavor a sweeter taste. Bless your son and thank you for your sons service serving our country. Praying 🙏 for you all.
The hot dog bar is such a great idea. We love to have BBQs during the summer and I definitely will keep this idea for our next one.

The hot dog bar was a great idea!!! Loved all the different ideas on how to top them. When I was in Cape Cod a long time ago there was a hot dog truck at the beach. I chose the California dog. It came with cream chz and sweet pickle relish. Man it was so good!!!

I am so excited for you and your family! We have only had 2 people in our family NOT serve in the Army. I will be adding Jonah to my soldiers on my prayer list! Loved the idea of the hot dog bar. My middle niece Jodie will be getting her new apartment in the late Summer early fall and just moved back to the Detroit are, our family is from there but living in Texas right now) and she hasn't seen any of our cousins on that side of the family since she was 6! Jo is a foodie and is soooo excited! She's wanting to have a get together and this hotdog bar is perfect for it!

Congrats on all your big events. Graduation and enlistment. Watching you make all these huge volume recipes reminds me of my mom. Back before the days of giant bowls my mom would take the produce drawer out of the fridge and wash it up and mix her potato or macaroni salad in it and put it back in the fridge till party time when she would put the salad in a pretty serving dish. No need to use it for produce temporarily because all of the celery, carrots, etc were either in the salads or prepped for a tray of their own with olives and pickles. She called it a relish tray.

Oh my gosh kimmy !!! This is sooo genius !!! A hot dog bar wow so smart ! What a good summer food / party idea !!! I feel like this would be great for a 4th of July get together also ! Or even a camping trip dinner one night ! Or birthday pool party for kids/ adults ! U could beef it up more and do hot dogs and burgers and use the same toppings interchangeably ! So many options and honestly so simple but I’ve never really seen this idea any where . Thanks for sharing , looked absolutely delish

I make a baked potato salad. You bake them, cool, and they peel easy. Then I put in pickles, eggs, onion aaaand bacon! So good! A coworker gave the recipe to me way back in 1990.

We’ve been using the large hot dog boats from Sams as every day paper plates! Way cheaper than paper plates! Congrats Jonah! My last girl graduated this year as well! I remember when the kids were younger & watching Jonah fill his summer ‘snack box’ for the day, they grow too fast!
