We really just have one goal - to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.
If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin - then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.
Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

THANK YOU ❗️ - Zábava
Just wanted to say thanks. I am a combat vet with severe PTSD and watching your shows have inspired me to get up and cook. Which has been so therapeutic for me dealing with this. Just wanted to say thank you and keep making videos. We watch you all the time.

@@garrettgonsalves6224 I'm sure everything's going to be alright in your life and thank you for your service sir for what you did for all of us proud on you 👍

A friend of mine says "buns are like referre's, when they're doing their job well you don't really notice them but when they suck they ruin the whole experience because it's all you think about"
Buahahah - so true!
completely agree
“It could suck, but pretty certain it won’t.”
Absolutely adore the confidence.
I love your natural down to earth way of teaching, with a bit of humor. Wish more of us were like that in general.
Y’all should do a “Freaky Friday” episode! Max and Sam trade places. Max’s episode was hilarious!
That's a great idea!!! 💯🤞🏾
Nah fr they need to do that

sam and max in the kitchen together? Lol
Max really did a good job in the last episode.
Hey Sam, thank you for stopping and holding a genuine conversation with my girlfriend and I this past Friday at Not Not! It was definitely the highlight of our time in the San Diego area. I mentioned that we’ve been watching for years now, but I guess I was too starstruck to mention I also have the 7” Nakiri and Intentional Leftovers cookbook, both great! And for anyone who sees this, Sam in real life is identical to Sam on camera, it was a great experience. Oh, and Sam, the Korean short rib was *chefs kiss*

I'm making hotdogs this weekend. I absolutely adore his cooking spread. If I had something like that I'd be cooking 24 seven and loving it.
Thanks for all your great content. I cook dinner basically everyday for my husband and 3 sons. I found myself cooking the same thing over and over again. I love cooking but it started to become a chore. We started watching your show and it gave me all kinds of new ideas. I always pound my chicken breasts out now!!! Lol love the honesty, hilarious banter, sarcasm and of course the food...keep it up
I’m 13 mins in after he posted. How many times does he say “look how gorgeous. Beautiful”

Love your recipes, they are simple, realistic and achievable. Thanks.
I feel like Sam is more confident after seeing Max cook. This episode is like a masterclass
This is the only cooking channel who got me to ACTUALLY try the recipes. Love it. Such a cool guy and team
I know what you mean I tried one of his burger and the one of pizza with stuffed crust and it was amazing from that day I've changed the way of how I cook and tried multiple of his recipes
Sam the Cooking Guy - best on YT! Love this channel.
Cooks swear. A lot. A decade in the restaurant industry taught me this. It's hot, stressful, tiring work and I appreciate every one of them.
"I'm in love with a hotdog" 🤣
rip his wife XD
Sam pulling out the TPain 😂😂
I love how he went all Goodfellas on that garlic :D
"He cut it paper thin, so it dissolved in the oil" I have lived by that standard since I was a boy when I first saw that movie
He sliced em so thin they practically liquify in the pan!!! Except Sam didn't need a straight razor!
@@mattpeacock5208 Oh, God NO! Don't put a straight razor in that guy's hands! He would get an "idea" and that would be the end of this channel.
Favorite channel!! I started watching a few months ago, since then I’ve bought a flat top grill and tons of other stuff, making all the delicious recipes! Having to watch videos from 3-4 years ago because I’ve seen all the new stuff 😂
I really love this guy. He never ceases to wow me with his food
You are always making something that makes my mouth water. Thanks for sharing your recipes with us. These hot dogs and toppings looks so Amazing
If Max ever gets cocky, there is at least one person who prefers Sam!
IF Max gets cocky? He's in constant competition with CHANCIE and his OLD MAN . He thought grilling five hamburgers and stacking them all on a bun was beating out his dad who has stacked three. MAXI has great camera and editing skills and I wish he would limit his input to just that. Interrupting, being critical, whining and laughing at any problem Sam has is such a downer for a great cooking show with a GREAT, funny, and super creative cook like Sam. There! I got that off my chest. I was tired of dancing around the truth and pretending that the uninspired cooking disaster and swear-fest was cute.
@@designorganize2608 its all for good fun man. you’re reading to deep into it, their constant arguing and not seeing eye to eye is honestly what makes it funny and enjoyable for me because it makes the show personal and reminds me of me and my dad. if you want a regular boring old cooking show, there are millions on youtube.
@@designorganize2608 ya its all for the camera u reached a lil too far there chill
We always add Worcestershire sauce and strips of carrots to the beer! We used to eat at Lum’s, and they told my mom that’s what they added. Always so good. Tfs.
All three of those hotdogs looked delicious I don’t know which one I would choose to eat. Once again you did a great job thank you for your show,You guys do a fantastic job!!!
Max did such a great job! Loved the episode
That guac and pepper dog looks awesome! My favorite way to make dogs is natural casing, of course, but I get about a pound of kapusta I get from a local Polish market (milder sauerkraut with some thin slices of carrots in it) and put it in a little foil pan with the dogs and put it over direct heat on my weber. When the kapusta starts to release some liquid and begins to boil, I move it over indirect heat and cover (under the vents, all vents totally open) for about 10 minutes to cook the dogs through. Open the lid, take the dogs out of the pan onto the direct heat to crisp them up and then back into the pan. Put the dogs in a bun, kapusta on top and then squirt some spicy brown mustard on top... Just awesome...
Max did a great job !

I just wanted to thank you Sam and specifically your staff at Graze -Kat, Lou, and Brian - for making my wife and I’s trip to San Diego one of the best birthdays ever. I was hoping to meet you, not going to lie but they brought your spirit…and the food was glorious. All the best to you, your family, & all your staff.
They all look incredibly delicious! But I think I would’ve chosen the jalapeño pepper dog to try first as well. I’m probably going to to to re-create all three. Thank you for a wonderful video!!!
One of your best creation videos. Normal ingredients and home run food! Thanks, Don Tony
I recently found your channel, and have binge watch a bunch of your videos, especially the Asian recipes. You are not afraid to experiment and screw up. The best thing is that you explain why you cook the way you do, not just "do it this way". Could you do more behind the scene videos; equipment, ingredients, and basic cooking skills? Thanks.
Love this channel!! Sam you did it again!! You nailed it 👏
Ya'll are killing me!🤣 Max seems more confident know since he did that video. He's even more snarky and I'm here for it!
Have to do more episodes with max and Sam keep up the good work, Love you guys
We’d be sad without you cooking, Sam

I often wish that Max and Chance could be shown sampling what you've made. It would be fun! But I DO love watching your eyebrows go up and down over your glasses when you take a bite 😊 Thanks again. Will try these variations soon.
I've been making last years chili dogs, now its time to make these.
I’m always up for a different rendition of a hotdog
Look up a Sonoran Dog. Those are 💥
Welcome back! We would have missed you but we had Max 😁. Thank you for your magnificent tribute to National hot dog Day! Those were truly inspired creations. Personally I wouldn't have been able to decide so I would have eaten all of them 😋
Two of us who watch Sam will be making his jalapeno/guac dogs for dinner tonight. Can't wait. Need to get to the grocery store...
Hey Sam, do a episode on cooking in a RV. Easy recipes when your camping. Love watching your channel.
That’s a great idea, or cooking a gourmet meal over a campfire.
Honestly the extra cussing just made me feel like I was talking to one of the BOH guys while they were cooking something for their lunch break 🤣
Me: Hun - I have supper covered for this Saturday
Wife: It's not from that man crush of yours again is it?
Me: Oh you know it is and you are going to LOVE IT!!!
I think my wife is tired of me talking about Sam and his channel. But she’s not tired of me cooking more.
My kids ask, "Is this from Sam?" "Yes." "Woohoo!"
Man crush..... yes I can relate!! Sam's great and his recipes go down a storm in my house.
I was trying to make salsa in a skillet, and accidentally made a delicious hotdog topper. I cut up tomatoes, red onions, and serrano peppers. They were fryed in butter. I added garlic salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper, ginger, and smoked paprika. It cooked down and looked kinda like squash. I thought, man this would be good on some hotdogs. It's kinda a cross between Chicago & sauerkraut. 🐀🐾
I see that one of the simplest and crazy good versions of a hotdog is never mentioned anywhere.
One brioche bun, one Nathan’s hotdog cooked on the grill, topped with good coleslaw.
This was my Mom’s favorite, and may have been her creation. Thanks Mom!
Max was a mess in front of the camera, more F bombs than Pacino in Scarface
That's probably where he learned all those words when he was a child.
@@DuffBrian Still a cute kid and the language is no big baby, to me anyway.
@@designorganize2608 get over yourself do you think you're watching PBS? Don't like it, move on.
Sam you are really a cool dude, the way you entertain while making kick ass food is really awesome. I never comment on channels I watch but you seem so down to earth and real. I had to say keep up the good work!
I've made Sam's beer brats before but I've never thought of cooking hot dogs in beer. Gonna try that method. The hot dogs look amazing btw.
THE HEAT OF THE EVO!!! I'm picturing some serious 80's serious nostalgia.....
I swear I’ve gained at least 20 pounds from just watching this man’s videos over the last year.
😅 Me Too
8:03 Sam you always say “45” when that’s actually a “90”. look at the perfect squares you created. It’s 90 degrees lol
It may be a 90 degree turn for the item itself, but both turns are 45 degree mirrored axes from the cook looking down straight forward. Don't be so critical.
Oh snap. You've taken one of my favorite things, the humble hot dog, to a new level of awesomeness.
Just found your channel and am not at all disappointed, gotta try these soon!
Sam is so good that ive adapted an acquired taste to believe that his 90 is a 45
I thought his shirt today would say "Where the F*ck is Max?".
"ahhh I'm in luv wit ah hotdog" classic bro! U kill me....🤣🤣🤣
First time viewer and I definitely liked what I saw. Making dogs is like art. I've seen saurkrout on a Reuben but never coleslaw. Your version does look good so I'll give it a shot. The "boil & burn" method is the proper way to make dogs of any kind.
Sam’s back y’all!!!
Max again behind the camera! Great Recipe, When will max get his next video?
Love the .394 Ale, used to drink it with my baseball loving buddies in college all the time. Never thought to use it in cooking!
Loved Alesmith! Fantastic tour of their brewery as well! (Pre-covid)
The ONLY thing that improves a Chicago style hotdog is a toasted bun.
True! Steamed buns are just for the convenience of the vendor.
As long as you don’t put ketchup on it it’s legit.
I’m from Chicago, eat Chicago dogs all the time, and have never heard of a toasted bun on a Chicago dog
@@royalyugoslavrecords8939 It's not. At any stand.
In my back yard it is 100%.
Also, It's an improvement.

Ok I have a confession, I’m a real food snob. But I really love a good roller dog with grilled onions and sauerkraut with deli mustard.
Hi how are you doing, hope you are enjoying your wonderful and blessed day?
We loved the Max episode! He did great! Love you Sam, but lets see Max some more in the future!
Love how you share your recipes keep it up 😊 yummy
im sorry for being a smartass but i must say this. When you turn stuff on the grill, you turn it by 90. not 45
Haha, my brain short circuited every time he said that, but i couldnt think why…
Now i know! 😃👌
True, he begins by setting the food at 45° to the grill and then rotates 90° from that point. Check 07:24. He has the pineapple at 45° to the grill. Then at 8:06 he turns first one piece, then the others 90° from where they are at that point.
He was thinking of how you get diamond grill marks. Thats a 45 turn.
@@CantankerousDave The actual turn at 8:06 is 90°.
Today's episode is brought to you by "Jeff Bezos' new Phallic Rocket!"
My Wife says; I hope not it only lasted 11 minutes.
Oh, you mean skydick!
I forgot to comment on the last video but max absolutely smashed it, well done max, that said glad your back sam, thank you all including chance for the content
I don't care about the swearing. It adds a little finesse to the overall experience.
That's one of the reasons I keep watching.

re: swearing...they're just words, and you never throw them out in an attacking way, which (IMO) is the only reason they would be objectionable
Fucking rights, Eh.
Hi how are you doing, hope you are having a wonderful and blessed day?
The hot dogs look fabulous. Nicely done. Don't be afraid to season your vegs when you saute, and I think a nice touch on the guac dog would be some crushed up tortilla chips.
Hey Max did good. I was laughing through most of it but the end product looked pretty darn good. Good job Max. I will say though that your video style and quality is top notch Max. Sam, your a luck man to have a camera guys like Max and Chance. Great stuff, keep it coming guys. From a Canadian from the Alberta North, lol.
I always poke the dogs or brats a few times when cooking in beer. I think it lets the beer flavor get more absorbed j/s
And letting them cool in the brew draws it in as well.
I'm sorry, but, the jalapeno dog is the most amazing thing I've ever seen in my life
Impressive for sure, wouldn't hurt to add them to the menu

GOTTA HAVE MAX & SAM BOTH TOGETHER!!
When you add that many toppings to a hot dog, it becomes a sandwich.
It was a sandwich as soon as you put it in a bread type vessel.
Naw.. it was a SAMich!
It's more of a taco tbh
Sam the dogs were cooked when they were made. Check the packaging. Max is just like his father. He can't cook without burning himself either.
Lol Max rocked those burgers!!! The Apple don't fall from the tree 😉😉😉
Awesome you should see "Babys got buns " by Vanilla ice. I hope they will have French's mustard in the bun out soon in stores. 😋.
