The snl lung brush for smokers was a funny one.
Please refrain from the narrating. You kill the skit. I didn't laugh through any of these.
@@normanmedina7683 Cowbell :D
I watched for 12 minutes, waiting for the funny part, but it never came !!!
You talked through it so much, like we couldn't upstanding it.
Would be great if we heard more of the sketch instead of listening to someone tell us what's funny about it.
EXACTLY!!!!!
They can’t because under fair use rights you cannot copy the whole fragment for entertainment purposes, you have to review it and cut it as far as possible. It’s legal stuff, mojo would have to pay royalties if they copied it all and there would be no review by voice over. And that’s probably too expensive for them
Such an annoyance!! Didn’t watch it all. Paused to see if anyone else felt the same. Now I’m closing it 😂
@@RandomVids-hx1py yes it’s annoying still
It would also be great if SNL was funny.
Nothing can kill comedy better than a narration by Mojo.
Don't watch it
Indeed
😂😂😂😂😂 Truth !!!
Don't be a whiner. I swear,if that voice actress had been white, you wouldn't have cared.
@@Randy-tp5lm Racist.
I cant STAND it when there's so much commentary and explanation interrupting these clips.. this is the kind of content that's best left to just watch. Just let us watch/listen to each clip and put the title at the bottom!!
the amazing monologue in the background is like my grandpa explaining jokes when everyone is already laughing.
#9: You talked through the reason for the laughter. You explained the joke as they were doing it, so it was entirely missed! Talk after the punchline! You did it correctly for the others.
Exactly!!! I skipped through her yabble trying to get to the point.. And it wasn't just #9. What a waste - we aren't stupid, we can watch and enjoy without her play by play explanation. Ugh.
Keeping it pg
@KoalaSez yes just introduce the skit and let it play
Glad I ain’t the only one who thought this
Having to explain a joke...skip the commentary.
You know what's funnier than watching the skit? Having a voice over describe it to me.
It’s super lame!
I wish the narrator would shut up.
And that NEVER shuts up - after listing the cast, the premise and then telling us how funny what we didn't see or hear was... We move on. Frankly I quit before it even ended.
Best comment!
Facts! I just wanna watch the clips but the interrupting voice over ruins it. I'll find these clips elsewhere.
Yeah tried watching this and it wasnt funny as you keep talking thru the best parts
The Alien Encounter sketches are so hilarious, how anyone can get through any line without breaking is a miracle. Never laughed so hard in my life. 😂
Debbie Downer should be #1, easily! I've seen it at least 50 times, and I'm ALWAYS laughing so hard, I'm crying. It never gets old.
My favorite SNL sketch ever. I think I'm gonna watch it after this. lol
Debbie Downer is the best of all time, even if they weren’t cracking up!
Yes!
Thank You all!! 😂😂😂
Agreed. It should have swapped places with The Californians. But what route would it take?
Thanks for the narration, instead of just letting us watch and enjoy.😢
HAHAHA! I have to say, I miss old school SNL. AND...I love it when they break...it's sometimes more hysterical than the sketch itself!
Awwww.... you completely missed Tarzan, Frankenstein, and Tonto when Phil Hartman went rogue and broke through a wall! The whole sketch is insanely funny!!!
Matt Foley's debut skit should be ranked much higher for how David Spade and Christina Applegate could barely remember their lines from laughing. It's one of SNL's most Legendary Skits.
There’s no remembering of lines on SNL. It’s all cue card driven.
Matt Foley: Van Down By The River is legendary! No matter how many times I see that sketch, it will never get old. Enough said.
Wouldn’t have understood any of these sketches at all without the commentary. A thousand thank yous.
Right?
'Colonel Angus' had me on the floor....
Also Christopher Walken being electrocuted had me.....'ouch'.....
Matt Foley and "More Cowbell" are absolutely iconic. I don't know how any of them held it together. RIP Chris Farley.
Many of the skits on this list are from the years when SNL was about as funny as your average dad joke. But "...need more cowbell" and "...van down by the river" are phrases that are still in my vocabulary today.
I miss Chris!
Dan I think that is probably my favourite skit. Never old watch to this day. Absolutely hysterical 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆
@@bonnytaylor7558Which one? Dan mentions two sketches.
“It’s official I can’t have children” 😂😂😂😂😂 wah wahhhhh! Could have been number one.😂😂
That's the beauty of doing it live. It keeps the spontaneity. I love snl and I remember Greg Morris and Dan Aykroyd. I'm so thankful I lived through a time when things were pretty normal in comparison to other places . All in the family and the Jeffersons , sweet nostalgia.
It absolutely BLOWS MY MIND that there wasn’t one sketch from the 70’s cast members!!! John Belushi, Chevy Chase, Eddie Murphy, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Phil Hartman had some of the absolute BEST skits EVER on SNL!!!! Yet you didn’t have not one of them in your list. And If these are the sketches you chose, Debi Downer absolutely should have been #1, the one you picked to be #1 should have actually been #2.
Farley falling onto the table wasn't scripted, the actors reactions to it are real.
Janet Jackson as a tourist visiting the "cork soaking" farm should definitely have been on the list. It was such a hilarious sketch 😅
I wonder if it’s ever occurred to Fallon his snickering makes it less funny for the audience
It should have been on this list. It is one that I watch still
OMG this one was tooo funny too.
Same for Alec Baldwin's Schweddy Balls.
This one is the best
And now we have the Beavis and Butt-Head sketch from April 2024 that was simply amazing with Ryan Gosling!
Its so much better with the commentary rather than just seeing the skits! Well done! 😐
Has Bill Hader ever not do a sketch and not laugh 😂 Love him on SNL
Adam Drivers skit in the honorable mentions is one of the funniest and well acted I've ever seen. The man is seriously talented and can keep it together even when everyone around him is falling apart 😄
Oil Barron Abraham H. Parnassus has me in tears every time. Pete Davidson improvised in that sketch.
One of my favorites of all time. I was CRYING the first time I saw it.
Early SNL had more than a few laughs! This is great ! Thanks 😂
My all time fav is Black Jeopardy with Tom Hanks. OMG! Cracks me up every time I see it!
The one where Kate and Aidy play the meat gift ladies on Weekend update and they are unable to hold their laughter and Colin and Michael also can be seen holding their laughter.
Gilda Radner and Candice Bergen is my favorite! They don’t just break into laughter-Candace Bergen’s character is supposed to be the smart one, and she blows the whole skit by calling Gilda by the wrong name! 100% worth watching!
One hilarious SNL break up you missed was Phil Hartman in one of the Frankenstein, Tarzan and Tonto skits. That was legendary.
Gilda was always hilarious ❤❤😢
How cool would a Matt Foley-Debbie Downer crossover be?
You mean would've been? But ya if Chris Farley was around long enough for DD, then I would've been down for that!
Omg that would’ve been hilarious 😂
Anything involving Will Ferrell is just great 😂😂 and Chris Farley was a legend! Hes greatly missed..
You really should do a list per decade. The original cast was the best!
But please keep the narrating to a minimum
lmao @ "I don't knock the corndog out of your hand"
I always love that John Mulaney whispered "My girlfriend works at Yoshinoya Beef Bowl" to Stefan and that's why he cracks up so hard.
The biggest surprise is that nobody broke during the entire Schweddy Balls skit.
The best sketches are always made better by someone explaining them.
Thanks for letting us watch it 😂
Debbie Downer always has me in tears
That sketch is one of my go-to CZcams videos for when I'm feeling down.
You know bob?? It is official, my computer just exploded/ WAH WAH WAH
1975? no...
Rachel Drach in top 10 of funniest SNL performers and that is saying alot when you consider who has been on last 45+years. Horacio Sanz cracking up in Disney skit is my favorite because you know that he just totally lost control of his faculties.
Good to know someone finds SNL funny.
The older SNL's with Belushi, Murphy,Martin,Chase and the rest were absolutely the best!
No it hasnt aged well
After the original cast the writing went way downhill. The actors that followed them didn't have near the consistency of good material the original cast did.
@@bobbybishop5662 well yeah but that was only the 80-85 period without lorne. After carvey, Hartman, lovitz and those guys came in the quality was already better than the original cast
What are you talking about Lorne not being there? Hasnt he been there since the beginning in 1975?
I was born in the 70s so i didn’t start watching it till the mid 80s
Any character played by Will Farrell is automatic gold😂😂😂😂😂
Enough said.
He's so talented, it's amazing how some characters Will completely disappears into, like the prospector.
Agree to disagree.
@@derekwalker4622 To each their own 😃
@@suzannemenuet947 Yeah, kind of what I just said, huh?
"It's official: I can't have children" cracks me up EVERY time.
Janet Jackson in the cork soaker episode is easily one of their best.
I'm glad there was narration for this complication, I would've never understood why these clips were funny without it
Betty White's muffin sketch has to be the funniest of all.
They could do an entire top 10 list solely of Bill Hader's crack-ups. My favorite is him and Kristen Wiig interviewing Scarlett Johannson.
Walken & Farrell: More cowbell skit. Best all time!
The Colleen Rafferty sketches are my all-time favorites! 😂
The one where Keenan plays the confused football player had Woody Harrelston cracking up.
I’m just smiling all the way through the list. Down by the river HAS to be my favourite. Especially when he goes through a table!
that table crash was heard round the world! 🤣
The narrator likes the sound of her own voice WAY too much. She talks so much through the sketches that you don’t get to hear the parts that are supposedly so funny.
It's a good thing they make each other laugh. Because the audience hasn't laughed in years.
The Peoples Court with Jon Lovitz playing the devil is my favorite. Laugh every time!
this!!!
My favorite is the close encounters series! Ryan gosling breaking has me breaking and Stefon is a good one as well
The narration interrupts the fun we want to hear!!
I loved the "Santa Baby" skit!
Justin Timberlake and Fallon as Barry Gibbs of The Bee Gees was also awesome and it was missed
They should have brought back Debbie Downer for COVID.
SNL has a spot in my heart from the 90s ❤ my Dad used to let me stay up late and watch it lol
They said, sometimes they laugh on purpose if a skit is going flat. Laughing is contagious.
Career Day is seriously underrated! Adam Driver is brilliant at comedy
Christopher Walken can host an entire season as far as I an concerned.
Hes a bit limited in what he can do as a comedian though
"Please help yourself to some dried apricots" is comedy gold. Can not blame Fred for cracking up.
That was frustrating, hearing all the commentary instead of/on top of the SNL lines
Thank you ms mojo for explaining everything and only showing a fraction of the clip. Makes it way more enjoyable to watch 👍🏼
I had the opposite experience.
Paid troll
I miss Chris Farley. He was awesome. ❤❤❤
Love This...✌️
Not surprised that Fallon is in half of these and is the first to break
I cried with laugher on "Close Encounters" KILLLLLLLED ME!!!!
I guess the first twenty years don't count except for the few sketches that are still around online .....
And they were the funniest!
Love it when you talk over the whole clip - do that more.
I clicked on this to watch the actual sketches. Not hear someone talking over clips of the sketches. Re title this to
top 10 snl skits I’m gonna talk right over
Way to be professional Fallon
I haven’t seen it in years but the Brendan Fraser hosted episode where he plays Xena, and looses his wig in the middle of the sketch, and the laughs are being fought back HARD.
Bill Hader with the Vietnam Puppet is the best.
You rarely see the orginal and older cast break character
Pretending to break character is nothing more than attempt to hide that the material is sub par.
Adam Sandler and Chris Farley did a skit where Adam was a house sitter and Chris was trying to convince people to hire him. Adam was laughing so hard he could barely stand up
These 2 as the old married couple
Could have made Mount
Rushmore crack ….
Thanx for adding dat .B R A V O…!
I wonder how many entries in the list involve Jimmy Fallon and Horatio Sanz?
The one with Eddie Murphy as a talk show host interviewing Ron Howard in which he constantly called him "Little Opie Cunningham", LOL!
(Eddie Murphy as "Rahim Abdul Muhammed", lol!) 😆😅🤣
More Cow bell always makes me laugh. Some of best are the Jeopardy skits
Comedy brilliance! Whenever I get down about the state of the world, I turn to these SNL greats and I feel Soooo much better. Thank you Lorne Michael’s!
Gilda only rates an honorable mention? Really?!
she's the original queen of hilarity. She needs to be recognized by @Ms Mojo
Seriously!
U talk through the best parts.
You missed the best one! Adele totally losing it in her African Tourism sketch. The Tribesmen triggers her everytime.😂 It's right up there with Van Down By The River.
Whitney Houston and Mary Catherine Gallagher singing Little Drummer Boy with Rosie O'Donnell and Penny Marshall gets me every time
The one where Fred Armesen and Kristen Bell are singing songs that neither one of them rehearsed on Weekend Update. Kills me every time
Not Bell, Whig or Wiig whatever
#8 should've been #1. RIP Farley
Hahahahaahaaa, the parts we didn't see were so funny!
Will Farrell with the patriotic crotch wrap at a business meeting was not even mentioned? Hilarious!
I was hooked before I opened it when I saw saw Debbie Downer’s face in the thumbnail.
❤️This list. Thanks for the laffs
They were all amazing. Stefon was always a great highlight on Update as well.
😂 if I didn't make it to the year 2069 it's because I died of laughter at this video.😂
I wish you had showed more of the alien abduction sequence, which was freaking hilarious! That said, this video was also super funny!!
The cork soakers gets me every time!
Lisa killed me😂😂😂😂
Debbie Downer at Disneyland probably not at work if everyone wasn't cracking up
