Over RS3 yes, over CLA 45 AMG, no way.....that thing is a legend as we will not ever in our lifetimes see a 400 hp I4 from Benz again.

The Hype is real.. These cars are fricken fast.. If you have one you know what I’m saying.. These are sleeper , track ready vehicles.. Drive one you won’t be disappointed.. I feel like the 5bw is more of a show off car of course it’s a blast but the 4 is more of a mountain carver handling car imo. Just a much more manageable power level

You need to subtract 1’ of rollout to get a better 0-60 time. Most magazines cheat.
What you fail to mention is that this is priced like an M2 not an M3. In reality we know it’s more like an M3. But the M3 cost $76k to start. Where this starts almost spot on with M2. So, if you are counting Benjamins it competes with the M2.
What kind of nonsense are you spewing? I just bought my 1500 mile CT4V BW for $57k. Just stop, you're embarrassing yourself. The majority of BWs go for 60 to 65k. And new m2s are 55k to 60.

Can you compare the Integra Type S, CT4 Blackwing, and G80 M3 all in 6MT? I am looking at a used G80 M3, Used Blackwing, or new Type S. Obviously there is a price difference but If money was not an option, which would you take?
Two of these are way faster than one, which shouldn't even be compared. It starts with a T.
I have a 23 CT4V Blackwing with the auto. It does under 4.0 easy. Fastest I have gotten is 3.7 secs

@@ctg311 New interior is coming to pretty much all models. They just did XT4 and CT5 announcement. Confirmed that CT5-V/BW refresh will be announced later
@@ph00ny1 I get that. I already see those new interior on some 2024 caddy models. You didn't get my point though. The ct4V BW 2024 model is already announced and it doesn't have the new interior. It will be discontinued after 2024. Maybe you can get future models with the new interior but definitely not with this V6 and manual.
@@ctg311 Same goes for 2024 CT5-BW which is already announced. At least for the CT5 update, it's announced as a 2025 MY. Again nothing has been said for any of the other models that have not been updated

Yes, and they just sold this car. It had 13,000 kms and was listed as a “demo”. You know, the same kind of demo that the dealership manager buys and then sells a few months later. Except this car had the ever living crap beat out of it. When I asked the dealership about tires, brakes and clutch condition, they said “it’s only got 13k km, it’s fine.” I politely passed. They ended up selling it for MSRP to a customer that didn’t know its history.

Depends. The blackwing will be a much better car if you like to drive. More fun, better handling, etc. But the M340i is better as a luxury car. Depends what youre looking for.

I dont like most european brands, besides BMW, Barbus, Ferrai. But over the years I have wanted American. Simply because everyone driving them are always smiling and loving it. It is a shame we don't get these cars in UK. Only import 😢
The CT4 platform has the same wheelbase as the prior ATS - both using GM's alpha chassis (Camaro too). Back in the ATS /ATS-V days they were marketed right in the C segment with the BMW 3/M3 and MB C-Class/AMG version. The down marketing to the sub-compact segment I believe was done due to GM/Caddy lowering the base pricing for all CT4 variants (and CT5 too) a substantial amount. The only way they could 'justify' this price shift was to move down segment on both cars so as to not piss off all the previous owners of ATS and CTS cars (who I guess paid too much - myself included - for our ATS/CTS cars?). This marketing slight of hand hasn't fooled anyone.
I owned an ATS 2L Turbo initially and then upgraded to the ATS-V (both 6sp manuals) and used it as both a daily and a track car for 3.5 years before selling. Hellavu car and quite capable. I hung with many an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglios & M3's out on track lapping days. From what I've read and viewed, the CT4-V BW has incremental performance increases, but does a much better job on the luxury equation, having a much nicer interior. I might consider a CPO CT4-V BW at some point... but will say my Caddy dealership experience was more like a Chevy dealership with maybe better loaner cars. Caddy still needs to work on the customer experience as it is no where near the level to the Euro or Japanese premium brands.

I would not get the Manuel I would get the 10 speed automatic 0-60 in 3.8 Seconds that's as fast as the 2023 SS 2023 GT and faster than the 2023 Scat pack 6.4L v8.

I got a chance to test drive the CT4 BW. It wasn't bad, nice engine. But the interior didn't justify the price tag. I mean, it is a Cadillac. Looking at the interiors of Cadillac and Chevy, they still feel and look the same. Maybe the newer models will be much better.
So the main competitor, the M3 has a nicer interior but is $25K more.

Dated exterior versus what, exactly? The M3/M4 look awful, the G70 is just OK, the RS5 looks damn good, as does the Alfa Romeo Giulia (even though it's old now).
He pulls the "German influence" card, because "domestic cars" have been shit on by a narrative for so long that he feels necessary to compare and pull in Euro comparisons/influence to make you feel okay with a "domestic" car. It's the same as people say to Black people, "you're quite articulate" or "you're so well-spoken" or "you're one of the good ones". Whatever gets you through the day, I suppose.

Used V cars are selling for MSRP the past few years in Canada. Only in the US does the value dip a little, but GM is throttling production so they don’t flood the market. They’re basically doing the Ferrari trick.

It wasn’t meant to be a drag strip warrior. Check out its VIR lap times. It is much faster than its competitors. 😃

@@DMCarReviews Maybe. Maybe not. The G80 m3s are faster. but the caddy just gives a better driving experience if you care about rowing your own gears. No lift shift + GM's alpha chassis makes for a better manual driving experience than anything BMW has to offer. I cant speak for the autos. Maybe BMW autos are better. Don't really care about that. Not interested in anything with less than 3 pedals.
Still need to give both manufacturers credit for keeping the sticks alive tho.... They are the only 2 that remain.
@@chilli1695 BMW has a manual option too. They make way better suspension's too. Also, go check the u turn radius of that Cadillac. The X7 has a better u turn radius
@@DMCarReviews I know they have a manual option. But BMW manuals are notorious for feeling rubbery and their clutches aren't any better. The Tremec system in the caddy is about as good as manuals get. Also, the chassis on the BWs have long been praised for being better than the G80s. Steering is more direct, and the magride system used in GM products is so good Ferrari paid GM for the rights to use it.
M3s are faster, but they don't handle as well or feel as good to drive. Again, this is only the case if your talking manual. No idea about the autos. Could be a completely different story.
