- In this video my harbor freight 5 drawer tool cart setup. i show my tool cart and some of the mods i have made to it, as well as some of the tools i use in a day to day use!
in the harbor freight 5 drawer tool cart I keep the tools i use regularly and keep my less used tools in a larger tool box. this tools cart is the harbor freight us general cart. sold at harbor freight. this us general 5 drawer tool cart will serve most beginning and experienced mechanics alike!
below i have a selection of links to similar tools to what i use they are all equal to or higher quality than the tools i use on a day to day basis. i chose to supply links to kits that can be bought as a complete kit as opposed to mine that are pieced together from separate kits.

Thanks glad you liked it I will be making lots of mods to it from here, I just got it a couple weeks ago and upgraded from a matco single drawer cart. I have plans to add more magnets and a side box to it, as well as a power strip

Glad we ditched the Imperial system for the most part here in the UK.
I only have to deal with Metric.
I would've thought Snap on would be cheap in USA ?
Snap-on, MAC and Matco are the professional tools in the US. They are definitely not cheap. When i was wrenching i noticed the snap-on sockets and wrenchs had better fitment on nuts and bolts. After that with the 3 tool companies I didn't see much difference. Nothing wrong with buying a "less expensive" cart for your expensive tools.
They are great tools but they are expensive hence the reason I don’t own a lot of them, I find though they are mainly just a name now and their quality like everything has fallen. I see no reason not to use a cheaper brand(like I do with Stanley,husky, craftsman,and Pittsburg) like I do when it gets the job done. If I saw a great Benefit to the more expensive brands I’d upgrade but for doing minor mechanic work at our shop I don’t see a major need for it for me
Snap-On employees are represented by the Teamsters, another reason why they’re so expensive.
