This is James Durbin performing Muse's Uprising in American Idol Season 10 Top 7 competition. I wanna post this because I think James was AWESOME in this. Fell in love with it.

8 years later and i’m still pissed he lost. He should’ve won.
Could be said for nearly every person in the top 5 of every season that got voted out. When you let the fickle public do the voting, you aren't going to get a decision based on talent but popularity.

I grew up on damn good music.
This performance is "one of" my favorites of all time, and that includes hours of Woodstock footage type stuff.
He just nailed the hell out of it.

I think I agree with this there are a few performances I really enjoy, Haley Rheinhart was great and that Moanin duet she and Casey Abrams is something I come back to quite a bit. But this is my favorite.

Fast foreward 9 years and this song pretty much fits in with our society at the moment!!! I remember watching this ,and I loved it!!!

2023 gonna be approaching 2024 soon. Still jamming to this. I understand Muse has their version of Uprising but man just the spin James puts on of his own. He uses the proper vocals but then adds that heavy metal scream making it into his style. I jut loved that. I felt it worked perfectly with the song. I don’t know if I’ll get any flack for this but I prefer this version over the original. The original is awesome too. But man this one. Love. Love the fact James is still busy and still making music.

10 years later and still thinking why that Scotty win the season
James and Haley were MILES above Scotty and Lauren. The showrunners were more comfortable with mediocre talent winning.
Haley was really good as well, I also liked Casey Abrams he was quite good, especially that duet he did with Haley "Moanin" really good.
"That's probably the highest note we've ever heard on the whole show!" You obviously didn't hear Kelly Clarkson's Natural Woman note.
