I never saw Good Times in its entirety, all I know is that Norman Lear made that show just like he made one of my favorite shows from the 70's, All In The Family. I knew this was a rebooted sequel of that show based on how the characters acted, however, the floppiness of this crap is far from how Lear intended Good Times to be: half real life, half comedy, just like All In The Family.
I don't think he was actually involved in it at all. He was 101 years old when he passed away last year. I will not be convinced that people were not taking advantage of him. They probably just got him to sign some papers so they could put his name on it for legitimacy.
