    In the beginning of my recovery, when I found your channel and started watching your videos, just the fact that you recovered from it gave me so much hope. I applied your teachings, tips and kept watching as well as Daniel’s/Sleep coach school videos, I was so relieved, and now I have my own recovery story. Thank you so much Alina. 🇨🇦

    Thank you Alina. I really like the approach you are suggesting, alongside the other key areas in your videos. Insomnia can be a very lonely place, so being able to draw not only educational information, but hope and inspiration from your videos is a huge support in my own personal journey. Thank you for taking the time to share your views, opinions, insights and experiences

    Thanks for your information sis ,I am having this fear of sleep recently about a week and I was little worried about many health issues but after watching your video I realised that it's a part of life and we need to overcome this❤ thank you and do great work like this❤

    Hello❤️ first of all I want to say that you are amazing coach and absolutely love every video you make, so insightful and knowledgeable so thank you Alina❤️ I wanted to ask you about my situation. My sleep anxiety got triggered 2 months ago when my husband started having pretty bad health issues, this is when I found Dr Daniel, you and all the knowledge that comes with your videos and went back to sleeping normally again. I had one tiny speed bump but had no fear and slept well next day.
    Last night I was talking to my family member about how my husband is not able to sleep from stomach pain and her response was “that itself can cause psychosis “ , and that words felt like sharp knife went through my anxiety and haven’t slept most of the night worrying about if it is really true that sleepless nights can cause psychosis 😞 i would love to hear your opinion about this subject and would really appreciate your insight 🙏🏼

    Howdy, Alina! What do you think about the translation of your videos to Russian? Because there are hundreds of thousands people here suffering from the anxiety based insomnia and endless vicious cycle of anxiety - not sleeping - more anxiety - more not sleeping. There's none besides CBTi here.

    Have you investigated the link between sleep and nutrition?

    • @FearlessSleep
      @FearlessSleep  Před měsícem +1

      I did play around with the idea of nutrition having to do with my insomnia in the very beginning of the struggle, but soon found that idea be inapplicable for me. No matter how well I ate (and I believe my diet is reasonably healthy) this won't address the fear of not sleeping.

    Have you ever taken any sleeping pills i did and it seems like i cant sleep without them at all does anyone know how to get of them.

    • @actualityfilms
      @actualityfilms Před měsícem +1

      Daniel at The Sleep Coach School where Alina works has a video on sleeping pills on how they delegate the responsibility of sleep. Maybe if you check Alina's playlist, she's also covered the sleeping pill topic. But I think mainly you become aware they are a placebo maybe helps you stop using them?

      @@thewhitchkingofangmar578 One of the best "cures" for insomnia is just watching videos by Alina as they help reduce all the fear which cause the turbulence. They use the fear of flying analogy. If someone is afraid to fly but they were explained how and why a plane can and does fly, then there would be a reduction of fear. If you stop with the sleeping pills you might have a night or a week of worse sleep because of fear but eventually you would see you can sleep without then and one step closer overcoming the fear that causes insomnia.

    • @FearlessSleep

      I did take some at the beginning, but not more than one package. In my case, pills immediately proved to be ineffective for me so I didn't develop reliance on them (though it was a bit comforting to have them on my nightstand. I find Daniel's videos on that to be very informative, such as this one: czcams.com/video/C9G8eif6yto/video.html

      Thank you Allina I think taking a sleeping pill was the worst mistake I could make becouse now after 10 months of my insomnia I take Zolpidem 5mg and even with that I sleep like 4 hours I hope anyone that has insomnia gets better becouse it is a hell to live with as you know.

    I have one question, Coach Alina.
    Is it okay to cry during your insomnia recovery journey? When I get only 4 hours of sleep, I feel really fatigued, my head hurts, and my eyes burn. As a result, I cry because of the discomfort. Am I telling my brain that there is something to fear by crying like that?

    • @FearlessSleep
      @FearlessSleep  Před 27 dny +1

      That's a good question! It's absolutely okay to cry if that's what's coming up - we don't have to push away our genuine emotion. I find that when we approach ourselves and our emotions with kindness and compassion and let the feelings flow though us, we often find ease at some point, as those feelings have been self-kindly expressed.
      The only tricky part that I see is when our mind starts to nudge us to cry as a way to avoid meeting certain experiences, like discomfort, fear, etc. I.e. "Last time you cried and it helped you feel more calm, so lets keep utilizing this strategy so that you avoid uncomfortable feelings"
