    I just recently got the steam deck lcd version my first one and it’s such a great device and I have not even started to dig into what is capable of.
    At the moment I’m still making my steam wishlist and playing the free games that are available. 🤷🏽‍♂️

      Factorio is great on the Steam Deck for long play sessions, Persona 5 also performs well. Outrun is good via Yakuza Zero when you don't have much play time 👍

    I agree. I love my Steam Deck OLED. This handheld gaming space is honestly the most next gen thing I've experienced in recent years. I'm basically playing the same games on my Deck that I'm playing on my powerful desktop PC and PS5. And that is still mind-blowing to me. It's also where emulation feels most at home. It just feels right.

      I agree with all points! I had the original steam deck but upgraded the oled at launch. Best decision I have made because it’s so much more efficient.

    So many possibilities with handheld gaming PCs
    + can become powerful enough to be a replacement desktop PC for most people
    + Become hybrids like the OneXplayer X1 Handheld-tablet-laptop 3-in-1
    + innovative like the AyanNeo Dual Screen
    + Small, simple and affordable like many of the Linux based Retro handheld PCs.
    + Modular to work alongside VR and AR glasses.
    etc...
    everything all in one small mobile device.

    The biggest benefit of playing on a game console is less cheating in online multi-player games.

    I love these handheld pcs because I find particularly with my Legion go is being able to do coursework without having to use a laptop but I hope they fix the display issues I switched to 60hz once and the screen stopped working or was a bsod plus there's display issues with ands Radeon super resolution

      Oh wow it seriously just flat out stopped working?! That’s insane. Thats amazing how you were able to do some other stuff outside of gaming on it.

    I want a steam deck too. Those things are dope.

    Don't forget that you can always cast your game from your PC to your TV with a laptop,settop box, Steam Deck etc... You can also use console controllers. I do this when I switch rooms. Heck you can skip the TV and cast to the Deck and just max out the settings at the Decks native resolution while running on your desktops GPU.

      Very true! I have done this quite a bit when I don’t want to sit at the pc and I just stream it from the deck.

      I tried casting my Ally to my TV (recent Samsung 4k) and the latency was horrible. I didn't notice latency when I cast my Ally on my laptop 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Do you know that you can play your games FROM your PC ON your handheld PC streaming them?
    You can do it over the internet or over your home WiFi or Ethernet (I bought a 2m USB C extensor and use my Steam Deck plugged to a dock, with energy, ethernet, and a 2Tb SDD plugged via USB with an adaptor (1Tb the internal one)).

      But to do so you need to have your pc running so why not playing directly on your pc, plus it's a waste of electricity which is expensive in certain countries

    • @maxvasconcelosgaming
      @maxvasconcelosgaming  Před měsícem

      It’s nice to able to stretch out on the couch and play. I have streamed from my pc many times this way it’s way more comfortable

      @@maxvasconcelosgaming Did you understood what I wrote?
      A 2m - or more - USB-C extension cable plugged to any dock allows you to play on your coach, BUT with ETHERNET, and even DESKTOP performance with almost the SAME COMFORT,

    I'm impressed with how well the Steam Deck handles games in general, finding poor performing games on the Deck takes effort. I'm keeping my eye on Valve, a Steam Deck OLED successor will happen, it's just a question of when.

    i could see microsoft shifting Xbox into making windows handhelds to further market gamepass. Along with that becoming a proper competitor to the switch / steam deck

    I loved my steam deck at first. I’ve recently really lost interest in it. I may try Elden Ring on it. That may bring back my love for it.

      I don’t blame you. When you have a pc that’s more powerful for the games that you want to play why would you want to use it? Nothing worse than forcing yourself to use something

  • @evp159
    @evp159 Před 3 měsíci +5

    Windows versions plays all those games you cant play on the deck very well.
    You are missing out by only having a deck.
    The rog and the legion go are a lot better and way more versatile

    • @maxvasconcelosgaming
      @maxvasconcelosgaming  Před 3 měsíci

      Yup you are right they can and several do out perform the deck for sure. I don’t feel like the deck is as under powered or hampered by Lenox as some people make it out to be though. The OLED version of the deck cleaned up a lot of major hardware limitations of the first versions.
      Not missing out though because I play a lot of fps games especially with M&K so I just play those on the PC. I eventually do want to get a ROG ally so I can test the differences myself though
