  • Hey friends! Custom RC Truck Cap for your Ultimate Scale 1:10 RC Crawler Pick Up Truck. CA Glue, Hobby Knife, Tape, Baking Soda, Sintra and Imagination with a pinch of time and I squoze this out of my brain. How will it hold up you ask? We'll have to run it to find out. What do you think? Do you want one?
This one fits my 1990's Ford Ranger, but these can be made to fit any truck I think.

Masterful! Great job, A!!! I am a real fan of scratch-building and almost always start with a cardboard template. This was an excellent tutorial and how-to. I hope others are inspired to give it a go after seeing this, it's what our hobby is all about! Cheers! 🍺😎👍

Hi Mauzy, so so right, when making bespoke modelling additions, always make a mock up in cardboard first and use as templates, saves a lot of money on the building materials. The additional rear cab, looks amazing. 😊😊 so am I right using baking soda with the CA glue to help the glue as a filler, for those areas that require it ? 😊😊best wishes and a Merry Christmas 😊😊 I tend to use plasticard, but you’ve used Sinatra sheets, any reason for that? Is Sinatra sheets better value for money ? 😊😊

Hey thank you! Yes the BiCarb/Baking soda fills, but also, and importantly activates the glue to hardening immediately. It also makes a rock hard cement like result. So I am not familiar with plasticard. Is it PVC ? Sintra was available to me as left overs from work so I decided to try it out.
Have a great christmas and holidays!
