- This is the full build of my custom Chevy crew cab RC truck. I began with two @fmsmodelRC K10 RTR's and finished with one long truck. Some extra detail pieces such as wheels and camper shell were provided by @AMPROEngineering
Good kitty. Nice truck.
This is awesome. Your attention to detail and skill is incredible, and the truck looks awesome (as a result)!
Thank you, I appreciate the kind words
Unbelievable build! Perfection at its finest!!! Awesome video and music too! 👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks!
@@turksandjerps Welcome! It's absolutely amazing and super cool! I also saw the post on Instagram the other day. When will this be given away? I hope I'm the lucky winner!
@@ClassicSteelRC I need to get a date figured out but it will be very soon perhaps within a week. Luckily you're already following me on there so keep an eye out.
@@turksandjerps Will do. Am I entered or do I need to do anything else?
@@ClassicSteelRC No, it'll be a comment on a post and randomly selected thing.
you just explained how to make the driveshaft longer omg that is so smart
Very talented. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Cheers!
Great build. Lots of patience. Turned out amazing.
Thank you! Cheers!
That axle launch felt like every project I have ever done. "I got this. Just let me handle this small crucial parrr.... OMG!!!! It's under the couch in the next county!".
25 minutes of crawling on the floor you find it on the workbench
That was quick. Thanks for sharing 🙃🙃👍🏻👍🏻
Several months down to a few minutes. Thanks for watching
@@turksandjerps
It was an impressive build nevertheless. Great editing.
👍🏻🙃.
Your attention to detail is on point my friend. Most excellent job! Another grand addition to the folly.👍
Thank you
like always - a FANTASTIC work
Thanks
I want your stubburbon! Well done on this rig dude, love the details!
You and about 50 other people 😅
That’s pretty much what gm did until the 73 model year when they actually produced the 4 doors on a semi regular basis bad ass bro
That's just amazing work dude, beautiful job!
Thank you

Amazing bit of work you’ve done there. Looks awesome.
Great job very cool 👍👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
You put the ribs in the roof! BRO! Next level build, you made it looks easy! Looks AWESOME!
One of those often overlooked things. I always do it. If I throw some unexpected detail on a build I can slack on another thing. It all equals out.
Great build, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
Your attention to detail is impeccable. The Headquakeesque video style is amazing. Chefs kiss!! Bravo!
My work pales in comparison to his but I appreciate your compliment
What an absolute work of art. Fantastic video from start to finish.
Thank you for watching!
Crazy good job! 😮 looks fantastic
Thanks a bunch!
Wow! So cool. Loved the sound track.
Thank you very much!
Thank you doing this to a Cherokee body turning it into a four door truck and had no idea how to do it now I do thanks
That sounds awesome!
That’s freaking awesome I’d been debating on doing the same thing but as a dually, might just have to actually do it now. Great job on that Chevy, thanks for sharing with us.
You should go for it. Thanks for watching
Great job it looks fantastic
🔵🔵🔵👍👍👍😀😀😀🔵🔵🔵
Thank
This was like stepping back in time and looking at my dad's old truck. The ethereal music gave it a magic kind of feeling. Amazing build. This is super cool!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Finally got to finish watching this. Started it 4 times. You are awesome at this.
Thanks for watching!

Very nice work😍😍😍

Such an impressive build. The pap cap is the cherry that tops this beauty. 👏👏👏
Thanks. Ampro Engineering did a great job on design
I love tht truck. Very cool.
Thanks
Wow...what a masterpiece!
Wow! Terrific build. Nicely done.
Thank you kindly!
Lookin' good, Mr. Jerps!
That turned out very nice looking job well done
Thank you! Cheers!
Very nice pick-up truck. 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Damn. Damn. Damn. This is just plain awesome. On a scale of 1/10 or 1/24 hahaha this is just awesome. Did I say awesome too much ?
I’d say 1/18 on the scale haha thanks for thinking it’s awesome
That is great looking ..YA All got some skills brother..
Great work, it's mindblowing how much was actually involved in this and gives me a terrible pit of doom in my stomach thinking about tackling it. Loved the cats. Mek in the tire, genius - i don't know how many time's I've knocked mine over and ruined the counter and whatever else it touched. I watched it all, seeing a master at his craft vs how I do things is a joy. Thanks for making me feel like a complete n00b :)
It's not a lot of work, I just make it look hard. I'm glad people like to see the cats too. I love when they hop up and steal the show. I learned the hard way spilling my MEK. I'd say that tire has been stuck to that bottle for about a decade now and I haven't knocked it over since. Knock on wood.
@@turksandjerps Oh no you make it look like less work than it is lol. I recall seeing the tire/mek on your og builds but never appreciated as to why until a few tip overs and a decade later ha ha.
What a great looking truck and that cap?? WOW very cool. Enjoyed it Awesome build
Thanks very much
Like the silent movie approach. Like button energized. Rotated left thru memory.
Absolutely terrific build. I think I would lose it if my dog laid across my work bench like your cat did.
Thanks my friend. I’m pretty sure your dog is bigger than ol’ Charlie cat so I would too
Wow! I learn so much that I can apply to my own builds from you videos. Great job!
That's great! I'm glad to hear that.
WOW!! I haven't even watched the vid yet, but that truck looks terrific!! Like you just bought it & too it out of the box like that! You've got some MAD SkiLz! Sub'd Rung!
Wow, thanks!
Such a sick build
Awesome job really well have lots of fun with it
Thanks 👍
There was me thinking the truck body was stock and you'd made a demountable camper back for it. amazing work! It kind of reminds me of Rocinante but cooler looking.
You amaze me on every build 🙌
Absolutely phenomenal
🙏
Epic little truck.
Never thought I'd see an ASMR RC video, but kinda like it. The truck looks awesome!
Glad you liked it!!
Beautiful build! 😍😍😍
Thank you!! 😊
Nice work bro I like
Thanks for liking
Amazing build, love watching it come together
Thanks. After a long build it's fun to go back and see from a different perspective.

Oh yeah my friend that's a great build keep up the good work looking forward for more nice builds thank you for the great video
Awesome! Thanks for the video, I'm just stepping into the custom building of RC and this video helps a ton! The truck turned out amazing...

Awesome build! Hope I get lucky and can bring it home 🤞 thanks for the opportunity!
Wow 🤩 that is amazing looks like came off showroom floor back n the day! You do amazing work my friend! Perfect 👍

Such a cool build, by far one of my favorite in the collection of builds!! Love the two tone you went with too!😍🙌🏻
What a great video, I was sorry when it was over. A real work of art!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Incredible job and video. So glad you share these techniques.
Really great build, the truck looks fantastic.
Thank you!
The skills you have sir! Amazing!!
Thanks, I’ve learned a few tricks over the years
Lengthening the driveline like that is genius
Awesome looking rig! Great work!
Beautiful build. Thank you for this content 🙌🏽
Bravo sir, your builds never disappoint
Always with the top tier work!
You’re too kind, thanks
Loving it.
dude you only have 8k subs you should have way way more as your contents awesome so loved how you transformed a nice rc into a out of this world rc , company's should take you in for the development team - beautiful Chevy my friend 🙂
Thanks! Maybe one day. I’ve been at this a while hope it pays off. Just happy to make videos and share.
Hola Amigo eres un maestro en el tema saludos y gracias por compartir ,Panama presente
Gracias ☺️
Gracias a Ti mi Amigo excelente trabajo 👍
So when do we get to see the speed runs?! 😅 What you did to that FMS model is fantastic, great job! 👍
Great build. Thanks for sharing the the process.
No problem 👍
Killer!! Only thing that would make it better would be dually fenders and wheels
Thanks but then it would be a dually which I don't like
Totally Awesome
As always, nice work.
Awesome
Thanks
Man I wish that was mine 😲 that’s some amazing work, you can’t even see a body line where you put them together! Where did you get those wheels? Great work 👍🏻
Thanks 👍 the wheels are from ampro engineering
Top knoch 👌💯
Awesome!!!!
Brilliant 👌
Cheers
Would you ever consider building these for the public? I would definitely buy one
No, I have not. I just wanted to do it one time so it was special.
Wow great work Richard! Looks amazing. Can you tell me what that little flat electric sander is? Looks very handy.
Thank you. It's a Proxxon pen sander. Quite handy.
9:56. You know how many times that has happened to me. Damn that pisses me off. Good looking. Just need a body lift.
Cool video 😊nice truck 🎉 just subscribed
Thanks for the sub!
Meu amigo meus parabéns que trabalho muito bem feito top de mais.😀😮😍👀👀👀👀👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👊
This came out so good. This is full of really great fabrication ideas. I admit I was surprised to see you add the roof ribs after some priming. Was it a detail you thought it needed after the initial styrene work or just something you like to add at certain points in the process?
Thanks! I primed before the roof ribs because I wanted to make sure the roof was 100% smooth before going any further. Consider it a guide coat to spot imperfections. It would be a lot harder to correct after the ribs were installed.
@@turksandjerps Makes perfect sense, thank you!
Dude so awesome! Beautiful job.
Where the heck did you get that mini electric sander? I need one of those
Proxxon pen sander
@@turksandjerps right on awesome! Thank you my friend. Aloha 😎🤙🏼
You are a true artisan!! How long did that take from beginning to end?
14 minutes 50 seconds ☺️. Ehh a couple of months on and off for a total maybe 30 hours
Awesome build! Love the camper shell... did you 3d print those wheels ?? Those wheels look great!!
The wheels were 3D printed, from Ampro Engineering. They have a shapeways and myminifactory
This guy amazes me with the amount of work and details he puts in these hard-shell RCs!!! You motivated, man, to go the same path with my K10. I like your cat too, what is his/her name?
Thanks for watching. Hopefully it inspired you. Kitty is the girl cat, Charlie is the boy.
Lo veo cortar el.coche y sufro al final no quedo tan contento pero el acabado es genial.
Thanks
I'm guessing you didn't change the motor, does all that extra weight effect it's performance much? Very well done vid BTW.
Didn’t change motor. All in all there wasn’t much weight added. All pretty light plastic.
Very nice. Now I see why it took so long. 👍
How fast does it go?
It'll go about 1.5 MPH down hill with a tail wind
Linda demais
#badasserie💪
🤙
Should do this with the new fcx18 k10
Would love to
