    I agree with Mark 100 percent, do not ever make the pockets smaller than 4.5 inches, and make the races to 8 or 9, so people dont get bored. Races to 11 are too long. I would even say make the races to 7.

      Shaw just loves playing with the cue extension attached, also SVB and Earl Strickland. I think Earl started it.
      Derby Bigfoot Challenge is played on a 10-foot table and only 1 cue allowed to play if I’m not mistaken.

    • @shayne.7770
      @shayne.7770 Před 2 lety +1

      @@minggoenarso I'm actually thinking of getting an extension for my cue because 5'6 playing on a 9 foot table is very tough haha. But forget that, I would refuse to play this simply because I'm not breaking with my playing cue. I'd just get a break cue and play with that

    • @minggoenarso
      @minggoenarso Před 2 lety +1

      @@shayne.7770 most pool players have an extension for their cues, but they normally don’t have it attached at all time. It is not advised to have it attached at all time because it changes the weight and balance of the cue, but very few players like it that way.
      Breaking with your playing cue won’t hurt the cue. You might get the tip flatten a little faster, but that’s about it. Pool players have different break cues to achieve better breaks, not because breaking will damage your cue faster. If you have a phenolic tip on your break cue, you won’t be able to play with it. The Pros are so good at controlling the break, and jumping, so The Derby City Classic having the 1 cue constraint to make the game harder.
