The molds are marvelous. They open a whole new world of texture don’t they? I do have a question. When you made the bird plaque at the end of the video did you do something special to keep it flat and prevent it from warping? When I make tiles I place weighted bags filled with kitty litter on them to keep them flat but I wonder if weighted bags would destroy the beautiful texture?

That’s right! And for me they are a lot easier to find as compared to rolling pins etc. And yes I did weigh it down and covered with a plastic. If it has texture, let the flat piece set up a little bit, cover with plastic and then add your weight bags. I’ve never had any issues with weights messing up the texture.

Great video Jas! I love texture and this really helps to see the finished product. I’ve seen some of the ones you have but wasn’t sure how it would look. Thank you so much for the tutorial. The last texture is beautiful and maybe it could be a medallion to go on a pot like a fancy pitcher. Add some of your fancy border around it!😂
