Personally, I really like the 2024 upgrades! Is it cheap? no… but it’s a purpose built, off road SUV with a classic exterior design that never goes out of style (Plus you can take off the roof and doors for fun). In this day, you’ll spend similar amount on other “boring” cars/crossovers. Might as well get something with a little personality like the Jeep Wrangler.
Nice wrangler! It brightens my day!! When you make vids!!!!
I love wranglers and the rubicons, but they are very overpriced
Can You get the Power seats in the Rubicon or do you have to upgrade to the Rubicon X?
Is it worth to get a 2024 and pay high dollar or get a discount on a 2021 or 22?
I am talking about 392.
Prices are up 48% on jeep vehicles since 2018. Jeeps, in general, need to lose about 15-20% to be reasonable.
Wonder if the rear window defogger wire is broken yet. I think it became a standard feature on the JL 😂
Along with windshield defogger that only works in a small center portion...and the rock hard seats, too much rear lumbar that jabs you in the back, tpms that doesn't work, XM radio that cuts out all the time, and no auto up feature on the windows.
Oh but they added a new grille and another 5k to the price 😂🤣
Got rid of my 21 Rubicon for a 22 4Runner because of the mentioned crap above.
I like them wish they weren't so expensive. I would also consider a Willys, but I wanna be higher up with the rubicon
What is with the hood on the 4 cylinder making that niose
How reliable is this car? I'm thinking about buying the rubicon and I keep hearing negative reviews and people are telling me not to buy it. I also live in a city (brampton, canada) where every 4th person drives a jeep
Does it come with fox shocks
Im so confused why they decided to put the jeep logo on the right side of the backup camera when they couldve put the front facing camera (if equipped) there lol
60k is too much for such a poor quality vehicle. My final generous offer is 30k
good to see you
That's what gets me about the screen. Yes bigger is fun, but the back up camera is smaller and it just seems silly.
oof that antenna-integrated windshield is gon be costly to replace, given the windshield has high likelihood of cracking on the Jeeps due to upright angle
Jeep was aware of this, which is why they went with standard Gorilla Glass to try to help with damage
Im not digging the new grill, but I like the JK looks over the JL, not selling my 2018 JKU Rubicon Recon, dealers call me all the time to buy it.
I don't understand why the payload is so low on this one. The 4xe also has a 850lb payload but it weighs way more than the non-4xe Wranglers.
So few people need or use an off-road vehicle. Why all the demand last couple of years?
I like it. Personally have the Bronco but would easily have picked this up if deal was right. Great off-roader in this configuration only
CAN U TAKE THE DOORS OFF??
Is premium fuel required? What happens if you put in 10% ethanol?
We got the 2.0 in a Cherokee. You can run any octane, but they say performance will be better with the higher grade. You can't get away from ethanol around here.
I love Jeep.
59k?!!! A good value comparison would be to buy a Sport or a Willies, use the difference in price to build it with better after-market products - then test it against the Rubicon off road
Willys is still ~52k msrp right now depending on options. pretty pricey but if you could find a "base" willys at ~47k i suppose its kinda ok even tho inflated.
I bought a base 2023 Willis for just under 42k
Rubicon, 3.6, Xtreme Recon and 4.88 gears is the way to go in 2024…
@@Ryan-xv3kc no if you want more pay load and a smoother power band for crawling, the v6 is better for that
@@Ryan-xv3kc 2.0 may have more power but have you ever had to repair one? It's a mechanics nightmare the way its designed.
Yes, but now you are up to $68K... maybe just get a 392?
@@user-rk2ww2cm4v 392 will take you to $100k, them maybe just get a G63…..and it goes on 😂
4.88 gears only available in 3.6 config… Guess why?
Are they super comfortable interstate vehicles? No, but we love ours. They’re little Billy goats in the winter in blizzards, easy to maneuver and park. Every vehicle has its pros and cons.
What are the mpg?
Terrible
It needs the back seat mats
Stellantis has shot themselves in the foot. The Wrangler was always a good value up until COVID-19, and especially since around 2022 & 2023, where the new pricing has increased significantly to a point that they have priced themselves out of the market for me. I’ve ordered/purchased new Wranglers approximately every four years since my first brand new Wrangler in 2000. Yep, I’ve ordered/owned six brand new Wranglers since 2000! No more. This also holds true for all Jeep products. Their pricing is totally out of line! Every competitor is a much better buy! Look at the Grand Cherokee. What an ugly a$$ SUV, and the ridiculous pricing leaves me smh! I’m leaving the brand when I trade in my 2021 JL for a competitor next year.
For what competitor? The Lexus GX looks to be very nice. At $60K the Jeep is expensive, but so are the RAM's. All vehicles really the past few years have shot up. Before COVID my friend bought a Chevy Spark for $13K. The price may be worth it given this is radically improved versus the Wranglers of yesteryear.
I like that jeep ❤
Hi
How are you ?
Kindly I need your advice.
Which is better Mercedes GLC300 coupe 2024 or Range Rover velar 2024 ?
Can this jeep tow 5000 lb?
Personally, I would never tow anything over 1ton with a V-6 or 2.0. I towed a piece of equipment weighing 2-ton with my Silverado 5.3 V-8 and I knew I was towing something.
Good review but the jeep looks like it’s bouncing all over the place. For that much money, I’d rather buy an Acura or even a bmw.
Nearly everything that makes them off-road friendly make them very poor for the road. You wouldn't complain crossing creeks and muddy/rocky terrain. If comfort is your thing, and you want some flair, the Trailhawk Grand Cherokee is probably best.
Hey, what shoes do you wear?
2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL Rubicon 4X4!
Everything Jeep isn’t worth it’s price period
60k for that cloth seats no way they can keep it
Ahhh omg it’s so pretty😭😭🩷🩷
Most of the people buy these really capable offroad Jeeps and turn them into pavement princesses
isnt that true of most cars? most people dont really use 400HP to blast between redlights.
@@psych883 nah it’s two different things.
Can't blame them at $62K, it better just be mud, small rocks, and a creek.
The answer is no
Agree 💯
Okay have fun with your bronco that you will only drive once or twice with all of the recalls!!!
Honestly..... it's too nice.... I wouldn't want to actually DRIVE this thing.
You do realize that even though the bronco does have some recalls that year after year stellantis ranks at the bottom for reliability across the brand. While ford may have had issues rushing this into the market they will likely be better then jeep very soon.
@@joegugliotta8988keep dreaming.
Sucks that vehicles are going higher in price, yet lower quality
You guys complain about 60k dollars in USA. In Europe is 90k euros the same car. 😅 idk why almost doubled the price here.
140k in Thailand
As a Porsche owner, you just passed a $300,000+ 911 Sport Classic. Absolutely stunning wide body collectible. I'd rather have a Dakar, but that was something special. Then at 8:50 a nice $100K 702HP truck (TRX). Oh yea, the Jeep. My last Rubicon was a 2012 Modern Warfare 2 edition. The inside is night/day luxury. So it has ventured away from the affordable off-road beater to a more luxury pavement vehicle.
I don't like how the antenna is fixed in the windshield if the glass cracks I don't trust that
Good value and jeep in the same sentence hasnt made sense since before my sister was born
Powertrains are pathetic unless you pay 100k for the 392. Maybe they will compete with the Bronco in the next generation.
Good value, no. But worth it yes for the people who use it
I will buy rubicon 2 door next year !!
Jeeps have become too expensive
60k for that it’s no wonder the lots are full of them. Dealers are greedy as fu€k
Overpriced. I would get a willys two door, manual trans with soft top, bow thats a youthful, good looking classic jeep and you save like $8 than going for 4 door auto hard top model.
Up 48% in 4 and a half years. Sorry let the sales people worry about buying food and paying their own bills. $ 60 grand for the four banger? You don't buy a jeep for a quiet ride, ( mall crawler ). Ohhhh quick little turbo on the street, not so smooth off road. Maybe, maybe 80,000 miles in that motor 🤔 😏 maybe.
Everyone needs to stop buying Jeep. Complete rip off. Pricing needs adjustment. CEO is enjoying his 28 million dollar salary and it's still not enough.
Or…… but what you want, use it the way you want and don’t b1tch about what other people do
@lordrayden3045 It is people that have your ideas that cause inflation and cry about being upside down on their vehicle and house. Then the rest of us have to pay for your bankruptcy.
it was absolutely a huge critical mistake that jeep stopped the diesel option on wrangler. it was soo sad and absolutely heart-breaking. (thanks God it is still available for gladiator)
As a Chrysler/Jeep tech, I PROMISE you, this was not a mistake. There is a reason why stellantis dropped it as a whole. The EcoDiesel is wickedly unreliable and Is really expensive to maintain. They are junk. People getting rid of them like crazy
@@Bhawkz95 omg !! seriously?? People getting rid of them?? waw that's so sad. what exactly is a problem in wrangler's eco-diesel 3.0 engines???
@johnreno8909 there's a lot of reasons, but main ones would probably be constant coolant leaks and they produce a ton of soot that stops up everything and causes issues
@@Bhawkz95 how about gladiator diesel??? regulations for pickup trucks is more liberal and probably gladiator diesel version don't have a problems???? and 1 more question: do you know anything about European 2.2 diesel engines for wrangler???? are they good??
New car?.....Value?.....huh?.....🤪
If its like the Gladiator that im currently using as a rental. No.
1. Seats not comfortable. Would never want to go on a long road trip with one
2. Arm rest shaped weird. Can't rest your left arm comfortably.
3. Window buttons under entertainment system. Not on door.
4. Shift knob too far right. 4wd shifter should be on right and normal shifter on left. Not the other way around.
5. Gas / brake pedals feel like they aren't attached to anything
6. Loose steering
7. The top parts that come off look like styrofoam . Dumb
I think that's it. And these are my opinions lol
The window switches aren't on the door because the doors come off. Wranglers have always been like this since they've had power windows. (a Gladiator is a Wrangler)
@stefanpetrut1 that's fine. Still annoys me lol. Has power locks on the door too so that all needs disconnected anyways
Sounds like a typical Jeep handling. If you want a smooth nice ride get a Lexus lol
Based on a 1/4 ton chassis for 60k 😂 yikes
Looks like my wife’s renegade grill 🤣
So many people complaining about the price adjust the options people! You don’t really wanna jeep.
Any time I see someone driving a brand new full sized truck or a new jeep I think to myself… poor idiot got ripped off😢😂😂😂
The jeep holds its value more than any vehicle. So I'm confused as to why you say this?
@@jeffreythomas4254 cause a jeep Cherokee is at $68,000 msrp right now… how long do you think it will hold this value?… a year???… where is the value for the money what makes a jeep cherokee worth as much as a bmw ?… its a rip off champ
@@robertawiese I'm talking in regards to a gladiator/wrangler. They r still way overpriced. But hold their value like no other. You just get a good portion of your money back on the tail end.
@@jeffreythomas4254 I agree that the wrangler is an awesome truck and it held its value in the past and recently used wranglers have been selling for above original msrp… but Im just saying that buying one at $70,000 is not a good decision because its not worth that in my opinion. But, people are paying that or they wouldn’t be priced so high in the first place so I guess Im in the minority.😁👍
@robertawiese agreed. I ordered a gladiator in March. Still don't have it. With employee pricing, first responder and a 3k incentive. I'm getting just over 10k off. But it is still to expensive. They should all be 10k cheaper to begin with.
No
Baaaarf, digital junk, more gadgets, smaller engines, more nightmare.
🚮
that's a down side for me
