    Things haven't changed in Tasmania.
    You can buy a local member for as little as $1500 or a whole government for a few million.
    Federal Hotels have bribed (at least) three Tasmanian governments to get their free casino and poker machine licenses.
    Both Liberal and Labor governments.
    This is why neither party will legislate a Crime and Corruption Commission.
    If their was a proper criminal investigative body, certain leading lights in both parties would be in jail.
