- A travel film with a poetic narration and orchestral soundtrack on Tasmania: '...set like a scenic tapestry in the Southern Ocean'.
The film includes scenes of Hobart, Ross, Lake St Clair and bushwalking, the Hydro-Electric Commission (HEC), Mt Lyell and Queenstown, the Derwent Valley and the hatchery at Plenty. The natural phenomenon known as The Shannon Rise brings fisherman from all over the world to the Miena Dam on the Shannon River.
