Swimming with eels, best giant moray ever.

- Best footage I have got of giant green moray eel so far. I have 10 minutes of footage of me swimming along the reef. I had a hard time editing it down. Eel footage starts at 2:10. I am filming with lights and filters with the GoPro hero 3+ in low light mode 1080p 60 fps wide 16:9. Filter is URPRO SWCY. I like this filter and use it almost exclusively. links below.

The eels like a dog, he sees the camera and stops everything he's doing and goes "ooooo what's this"

The more I see of earth's oceans, the more it's impressed upon me that the seas are truly the anc I ent cradle of all life and diversity on earth, and how amazingly complex the creatures are there. And how FRIENDLY and willing for contact some of those creatures are. From sharks to moray eels to dolphins to octopi, there is the mutual intelligence shared between sentient beings, and they are happy to welcome us back to the seas and be our friends !
I used to think morays were creepy but then I saw how actually intelligent they are. Now they're just cute slimy noodles ^u^

I'm impressed with the footage you obtained here, I always visualized the Ocean as a world within "our world" but that's just me, the Moray Eel footage is great!! but then again all of the footage is great, nice video.

actually ocean is explored, the deeps like mariana trench "isn't explored" becase it's just empty desert and no one wants to go there

When I went to Rarotonga with my family, I bumped into a moray eel hiding beneath a rock. Visibility was low so it scared the living s out of me!

I only lasted 2:07, but it was high energy discovery. Envious for the water clarity, and of course, wide range of color, neither I find in abundance in the southern Gulf of California. My favorite clip by far, was the shadowing of a fish over a big sting ray. Today I saw a Graybar Grunt and an Adult Golden Trevally hanging really close swimming around the white sand. Couldn't get close enough to film it. Interspecies chilling.

This footage is magnificent but I think the divers got too close for comfort for a lot of the animals. That eel's body language is screaming that he's irritated and asking y'all to back off.
