- Máire Treasa Ní Dhubhghaill is joined in the House of Rugby studio by Lindsay Peat and Pat McCarry as they look back on a weekend of URC rugby and ahead to Ireland's Six Nations clash against England this week.
They look at Ulster's start to life without Dan McFarland at the helm, and why it's looking positive so far.
They look at Irish attitudes towards being favourites in games and whether that needs to change given our dominance, and will an Irishman wreck the Grand Slam?
They dissect Felix Jones' blitz defence and why it hasn't exactly worked so far with England. - Zábava
'Why Ireland will be too strong for England'.... 😂😂😂😂
Arrogance at it's finest. You three should retire from punditry.
Nick Mullins roaring ‘SMITH!!!’ In the very last kick of the game, is now one of the great 6 Nations commentary moments of all time 🏴.
This was a really enjoyable broadcast. Great commentary and insights. 🏉👍🙏❤️
Enjoyed that chat very much. Also liked the predictions for the games on Saturday. ☘🇮🇪💚👍
You were saying? 😂.....English eyes are smiling 🤣
Why would Sam Prendegast go to Ulster? hes already gaining on the Byrne Bros, and set to be the new Sexton.
Bonus point win for Ireland, ye baby ye!!!
Lindsay Peat - legend.
Time stamps pretty please
Just fast forward and figure it out
You are killing us. We don't do favourites well.
HAHAHAHA this aged well
Where is mick dunne the famous commentator not.
Ireland need to win their next 133 tests to catch up to NZ
I think McCarthy will be targeted & Ryan will show his class.
Very very scared england are desperate and skilled i wish we met them in the first round
So, er, how did that go for you, Ireland......?
we will beat England but it won,t be easy think about last years match at Lansdowne road up until the red card the game wasn,t won
"we will beat England"
REALLY?!? You're from New Zealand?!!?!?!
By far the better team...ha!
It’s just absolutely hilarious looking back at this isn’t it? And all these Celts, yes Celts, trot out the tired old English arrogance baloney. Get it right up yer’s!!! 🏴🏴🏴
HMMMMMM 😂👍🏻 Sorry i couldnt help it lol
English back row fronted up against "the best back row in the world". Doris bound to be next Lions' captain. Soooo disrespectful. Hope SA kick their arses!
Hehe.
Twickenham won’t be easy for ireland
Its a mans game takung over
Clowns
Christ these two made themselves look ridiculous
Irish pundits need to stop with the arrogant titles. The game at the weekend will be tight and it wouldn't be a shock if England won even though Ire are favourites.
It would be a massive shock. Have a look at odds and recent performance. It would nearly be italy beating Wales in Wales level of shock
You must be high. It won’t be a very close game. Second half it will be a comfortable win for Ireland.
@@ballinlough12345 I acknowledged Ireland are favourites but I think England will have their best game of the tournament this weekend. They'll be desperate to beat Ireland after having lost to Scotland again and Eng haven't beaten Ireland for a while.
You think Ireland will hammer them. I think it'll be a close game and could go either way. My prediction is Ireland by 1 score.
Italy beating Wales in Wales has happened in the past and Italy shouldve beaten France in France so beating Wales wouldn't be a 'massive shock' either, considering how young and inexperienced this Welsh outfit are.
A 'massive shock' was when Japan beat SA at the world cup. You need to lay off the hyperbole.
@@Frankabagnale33 I can see England potentially gettting a few scrum penalties, defending well at maultime, competing in the LOs, and upsetting Irelands quick ruck ball game. Itoje loves playing against Ireland, expect to see a few turnovers from him and others.
@@PB22559 absolutely. Also see o’mahony jackel England’s ball though. I think it depends a lot how the first 15 mins. If Ireland scores it’s going to be a hard day for England.
Patronising rubbish.
Lost interest at Woman's basketball player
Oh REALLY? FYI Lindsay Peat was an Irish international rugby union player (prop) from 2015 to 2021..she was fast tracked from Leinster when she switched to rugby in 2015. In addition to representing Ireland at women's rugby union, she has also played for the Republic of Ireland women's national association football team at U-18 level, captained the Ireland women's national basketball team and played senior Ladies' Gaelic football for Dublin. Between 2009 and 2014 she played in three All-Ireland finals. She was a member of the Dublin team that won the All-Ireland title in 2010 and she scored two goals in the 2014 final.
It's not her fault your mickey's tiny
@@murta2010😂😂
England by twenty? Give away 12 penalties against any half decent team you will lose
Oh c’mon mate, this England team is not really a threat. Stop with the hyperbole
Hope Ireland are not listening to this trio ! According to this no point in England turning up! If mc Carthy starts England will be on the front foot! How many penalties will he give away ?
The bookies are saying its 4/1 for an Enland win mate. Calm down.
The trio are a disgrace. There's nothing worse than arrogance.
@@LeMerch Who cares what the bookies said, England have been the better side today and there's only 10 mins left.
