There are three more that specifically state redirected however two will require some serious shenanigans to hit players and one will allow you to hit anything.
I keep this card in my Ardenn and Rograkh equipment deck. My favorite moment was when someone took control of Rograkh, who was about a 30/30, and Iwas able to reverse it.
Jade Monolith can also do this, but only redirected to yourself. You use it on a creature that is blocking one of yours. This comes in handy for creatures that you don't mind taking damage from that really want their "deals combat damage" trigger to happen. Or, redirect a Ria Ivor hit for many many mites (building/brewing Ria is where I came across Jade Monolith)
But needs a high CMC card to pitch to prevent a blightsteel's worth of damage, and in mono-white the most you can prevent with that is 10 (Everything Comes to Dust, Organic Extinction, Soulscour, Storm Herd). If you are xGW, then you have Autochthon Wurm but that's a one-off
My Sultai deck's pocket "Anti-Blightsteel" card is Ana Battlemage (for its 1B kicker ability). Used to be a filler creature when I first built the deck, but when I scored my first kill with it via an opponent's Blightsteel, it earned its place in the deck for good. lol
@@aznirish unless im dumb i can burning anger, the infector to damage the doll and that should get replaced by infect since pariah replaces the target with a player i think i have no idea
@crowcoregames1785 stuffy doll says that any damage dealt to stuffy doll, stuffy doll will deal that much damage to target player that was chosen when stuffy doll entered the battlefield. Regardless how the damage is dealt to stuffy doll, unless you give stuffy doll the infect key word, it will not do infect damage
@@aznirish ok yes normaly however it has a Pariah so if i target myself with a blightsteal and burning anger normaly i would die, but in this case it replaces that dmaage to doll and then that damage replaces to the player i named, in the case of burning anger it makes the creature deal the damage witch should work as infect because im targeting a player not the doll or maybe not because of the weird damge replacement thing
@@crowcoregames1785 Pariah (and Pariah Shield) says, "Enchant Creature; All damage that would be dealt to you is dealt to enchanted creature instead." Not a replacement effect, but a continuous effect. As long as Pariah is enchanting Stuffy Doll (or Pariah's Shield is equipped), damage dealt to you is dealt to Stuffy Doll. Burning Anger says, "Enchant Creature; Enchanted creature has (tap): This creature deals damage equal to its power to target creature or player." With this on Blightsteel you can just kill someone, but in your description, you want to target yourself/stuffy doll to redirect the damage to the target player from Stuffy Doll (extra steps sure but same effect I guess for that guy). Blightsteel has infect, which btw puts -1/-1 counters on creatures and poison counters on players, so when the damage thrown at your face from blightsteel occurs, Pariah on the board say, "this damage is hitting stuffy doll instead," and stuffy doll takes 11 infect damage (which is 11 -1/-1 counters on Stuffy Doll). Stuffy doll takes 11 damage and says, "stuffy doll will deal damage to target player that was targeted when stuffy doll entered the battlefield." You deal 11 damage to that player. Stuffy doll does not inherit any keywords that were associated with the damage dealt to it. The result will be Stuffy Doll gains 11 -1/-1 counters, then stuffy doll dies as part of state-based actions as it has -10/-10 power/toughness, then the stuffy doll damage trigger goes off to deal 11 damage to the chosen target player. Very neat card! A card I’ve been looking at for it’s very specific and strong hate is flame blitz. Ya hate planeswalkers for some reason? Well don’t worry cause you can deal 5 damage to each of them every turn on your upkeep for a measly 1 red mana!
Another fun one is that Blasphemous Act can murder its caster with Backdraft. Reverberation does it too and it even prevents the Blasphemous Act from going off
Wait how does reflecting palm on blightsteel work? Isn't infect also a replacement effect? So the active player could just choose to do infect instead of palm?
Do you mean deflecting palm? If so, deflecting palm prevents the damage that blightsteel colossus would do. Deflecting palm then does equal amount of damage, but it does not have infect so it just does regular damage instead.
I know not everyone will agree with me, but I believe Infect/Poison should be rule-0'ed out of the game. At the very least for Commander it should scale to a necessary 20 poison counters (to be half of your starting life total, as was the original intent).
There is also reflect damage which while it doesn’t specifically mention combat damage also works this way because of its wording
Still my goal to donate a Blightsteel to somebody and then Backlash it.
Calm down Bolas
Love me some Backlash.
You activated my trap card!! MIRROR FORCE!
Came here to say this
Oh baby, this is going straight in my Pramikon deck. It's absolutely the kinda "stop hitting yourself" horsesh** that deck loves.
Shining Shoal, Harms Way, Ward of Piety
Obiwan: this is not the player you're targetting...

Strange thing, I have this card but only in Portuguese and never knew what it did till today lol
This is why you are the MTG short GOAT

this is my new favourite card now
Come on Veggie, that was a secret, hehehhe
.... Shining Shoal redirects to any target as well.

Imagine saying "no blockers" and "during block step...." *taps 4 plains*

Thank you Veggie for all these bizarre cards :)
stuffy doll and Pariah should work similar but this combo is way funnier
Stuffy doll will deal the damage, so you wouldn't get the infect or special triggers from the source of the damage.

I kinda wanna put the second one in my Feather, the Redeemed deck
As an Arden/Bruse Tarl deck with viable ways to win via Voltron DMG, my friends must not find this video...
Man though, throw a Worldslayer on that bad boy and watch the table sweat
Deflecting palm
“Happy Star Wars day, I guess” say it with your chest or not at all, come on mane (jk)
Gotta call out my boi Shining Shoal from Kamigawa not getting the love it deserves~
My ertha jo thanks you
Oh this could be fun!!! 😏
I have this card in my flash deck 😍 its so satisfying against voltron im sorry not sorry
On the flip side, it’s pretty bad against creatures with lifelink.
What about Justice Strike to counter Blightsteel Colossus?

Zhafirn commander can wipe all player from a single phage....
Deflecting palm doesn't hit face?
Wait wait wait, does that mean deflecting palm can't kill someone with their own commander?
I mean if you bring their life to zero it still works. It just won't count as commander damage.
@@devanbrowne8706 I meant by exclusively via commander damage. I was absolutely robbed of a game.
Those are great. I have a friend with 5 infect/poison/toxic decks. It would be hilarious that he could kill himself.
Is jade monoth a joke to you?
hear me out:
commander damage is stupid

It it should be decreased to 5 so it’s closer to being just as viable of a strategy.
May the fourth be with you. Say it right or not at all...
