I've lost two friends in the last two days to Covid and another is in very bad condition (the husband of one of the two that have died). Your message is not lost on me and the reason I watch your videos is that we'll be moving to Florida in 18 months and will live on the water. Fishing the #floridakeys is by far some of the best fishing in the world!! We live here in Florida as well, Sebastian Florida to be exact, but there is something about the tranquility of the Florida Keys!! You definitely have a an awesome boat to fish from and a lovely home to do these catch clean and cooks! I would like to say thank you to the both of you for making a video that was actually very enjoyable to watch. No selling points no buy this or you have to have that to make this happen. Bass fishing and lake life has always been my life.......but.....I moved 2 hr from the shore, saltwater fished once....NEXT THING I buy a bay boat and subscribed to you channel. Hell.....im one sail fish catch from buying a salt life sticker. Love you and the wifey keep up the channel

Nice Video! Would you consider doing a bottom finder video? Would love to see how you approach finding good structure/bottom in that deeper water and how you verify it on your finder. I have a process for more inshore spots, but it's different in blue water where there's not so much structure on charts and such to get you started. I know it's a learning process and you have to put in the hours, but it can be a long process for the weekend warrior like me, just trying to shorten the learning curve... 😆. Either way, love the videos and the channel, good stuff!

Sweet video... I think the reason you get sharked more while your filming is the process of landing the fish is prob a bit slower giving the sharks a chance to catch your fish, happens a lot in the charter industry too when inexperienced anglers reel in fish too slow👍
Nice video Clay! I enjoyed your closing comments. Well said.....Completely unrelated, but keep an eye on the amount of mercury you’re consuming. I had an excessive amount in my body and I got very sick from it from all the fish I was eating. I had to chelate (detox) with DMSA and it took a couple of years to get it out.

We travel there every year for mini season and struggle with finding spots to catch lobster and fish... How do you know where to go?? It's such a big ocean out there and we get so frustrated without catching anything... lol do you use a certain chip for locating them or do you just know where to go?

Yes! As long as the weather is calm. This time of year I would stick between 100-300 feet
