"7 - 8 hours of usage as a daily driver" is a BIG LIE for this laptop i can assure it ! When this laptop is with new original battery, then it gave backup of about 2-2.5 hours on about 70% brightness(the max brightness is not much, its only 250nits). When the laptop battery gets quiet used up - about after 1 year only of usage - the battery backup is nothing more than 1 hour of backup on full 100% charge at 70% brightness [and this also didnt have any quickcharge :( ]. When this laptop is battery-dead, the charging time is about 1.5 hours... To be frank - Don't buy this laptop if you want to suffer due to poor laptop(and beware of the advertised battery backup - today 2020 model of this laptop also claims 10hours of backup, but as other youtube reviews have mentioned - it seems to be 4 hours for newer models)
Did you feel any display issue while watching movie at night in a dark room ? Can you please check it and let me know Because I am feeling some extra big white dot smoky shadow is coming from each corner from the display and even from the middle of the display

you just didn't mention already old and slower version gpu used, 940mx gdd3. atleast ddr5 should've been given, hp is becoming too greedy lately, lenovo is much better option. with mx150 coming soon which is upgraded version of 940mx, budget gaming is going to become much better, i hope hp rectify itself before its too late.
