This is by far the most beautiful, polished, and well planned/thought out residential garden I’ve ever seen! Not only are the actual flowers/plants/trees/etc. perfectly chosen, but the garden “infrastructure” so-to-speak (i.e., the various choices of stone throughout, fountains, benches, sculpture/statues/whatever, the design of the pond etc) are too. Yvonne has amazing taste and such a good eye for balancing it all so that no one section is too much or overwhelming. It all just comes together exactly right. PLUS-and this may be a weird compliment-but i really appreciate the way she presented/discussed everything. So many of the hosts of other garden tours on YT i end up wanting to mute after 2 minutes and this one is NOT like that at all! Thank you so much for sharing this stunning garden! 🙏

This is so inspiring! I almost forgot to breathe as we went from garden to garden. You think that it couldn't get any better, (but it does) and the anticipation of the next space kept me on the edge of my seat. I would be so excited to walk in this fabulous garden.

Everything works in this garden, from the layout, the hardscaping, the support structures (arbors, tuteurs, etc.), water features, to the repetition of the plant choices. Even the few garden ornaments are absolutely beautiful. Thanks for this second view with Yvonne explaining everything. Delightful.

Oh my goodness, I could gawk at her garden for hours on end! She really practices the principles of entry, repetition, color echoing, and amazing textures. Of course the permanent structures provide the overall framework but they aren't overpowering...it just all flows space to space. Thanks again for sharing!
So beautiful and how wonderful to be able to spend 4 hours a day in the garden …I have maybe 2 hours 6-8 in the evening and I have a small garden but oh WOW this is heaven and I love it like I said in a former comment its what I picture my heaven to be like all beautiful gardens.. It fills my soul to see someone so passionate about what I love and honestly my garden is so tiny but I love it just as much as you love your large one it’s wonderful so many people have this in common. So well planned and all the different types of plants. Just beautiful thanks for sharing your space ❤

I know Yvonne said she could care less about the lawn, but I think the beds and borders would not be as beautiful and dramatic without the gorgeous expanse of impeccably maintained lawn in front. Parts of these beds actually look like a painting! And to be able to have the boxwood hedge and spheres professionally pruned every year is a huge luxury that is well worth it. It is amazing that she mostly maintains this herself. This is a passion... and it shows! The Japanese water garden is stunning, and the sounds are amazing!
