How to replace valve cover gaskets with an attitude. LMAO.. ..great video. subscribed
Thanks for the detailed procedure. Wish I would have watched it first, but it will help me finish up this phase of the job.
Thanks very much for this video. About to embark on the same exercise for my 'rust belt' 06 Grand Cherokee. What fun!
Fun... you have no idea...
Your video was very helpful and educating thank you for taking the time to explain every step
Thank you! I’ve been looking for a video on this engine model valve cover gasket!
You're welcome. Have fun with that.
The Return of DUDE MAN GUY! YES.
What a hassle to work on, thanks for video!
Sumbich I'm not looking forward to this on my wife's 07 but, gotta do it. Great video and thanks for doing it. I subscribed just because of the smart a$$ sarcasm at the end. "Well, here ya go!" Made me laugh. Thanks brother and keep on keepin on
Thank you for the effort very helpful!
This video is great help thanks
Thanks for your sacrifice!!! LOL, But serious thanks i gotta do one this weekend for a friend. Just did the oil pan and man this looks way more easier... just lotsa tight shit in the way and fragile clips to be cautious of, my favorite. Oh the engine in your video sounds cherry! and no more leaky!!!
I feel just like this when working on crap 😂
i did this the other week without disconnecting fuel injectors and wiring. now i get to do it again. thank you for that. it was like trying to pull a calf out of a heifer getting the passenger side one out of there. apparently folded the gasket gently forcing it back in. thank you for making this
Lol 😂 it runs ! Thanks for the video 👍
Badass very helpful thanks!!
They call me Billy... Billy Badass 🤪
One of the best videos done on a 4.7 chrysler engine. Correct me if I'm wrong though but i thought the 99 to 04 grand cherokee or chrysler engines have different set ups around them. From what i remember most of the stuff is reversed opposite sides as well as a few other things that might need to be removed or are in the way!
They change a little, but the engine pretty much remains the same.
@@RustBeltAuto i see!
this is how it really feels.fixin shit.bravo
Oof-dah! Somehow, a Nourth Dakooota/Minnesooota-ish accent makes even the most annoying jobs just a little bit more enjoyable. You betcha.
Thanks for the video. Really, really, really should have gone with the I-6 4.0 instead of the V8 4.7 for my kid's WJ. Ugh.
Appreciate the vid
I love how you say just push them in, SMH not that easy on mine.. lol
Same. I can’t for the life of me get the gasket to sit in the cover
Thanks for your video BYE !!!!!!
Can we get a toolbox tour? Loved the shop tour!!!
We got a tool box tour.
@@RustBeltAuto Someone asked me to do a toolbox tour......um......I'm not going to?
I have done a new anal retentive tool box tour.
I love the way he ended it.
Good job man. How long did it take you from start to finish?
"OK bye!"
LOL
Did you have to take out the injector rail ? Or you figured might as well clean them?
F****** awesome thank you bro
Best instructional ie0
How much will this cost
Well, before anything else, credit were credit is due!!! Thanks for a great video and easy walk thru!!! Now, to the reality....it's a bitch to get that passenger side valve cover off!!!! Must have spent close to 1:30 just slowly trying to wiggle her out!!! Lost quite a few of the orange slide locks on the connectors, heat takes a toll and they brake just like talked about on the video. Managed to break the MOP sensor in the middle front of the engine, $100 mistake. Do yourself a favor and remove all bolts with the grommets before starting to lift and removing the covers. I dropped one from the passenger side and had to worry for 2 days if it had fallen inside the valve assembly...😢😢 luckily I found it below by the metal plates close to the tire. I reassembled everything back and now waiting on the MOP sensor to fire the engine up!!!
How about video with head gasket replacement?
I haven't done one during the CZcams drama in my life. Otherwise, I would.

Not a high enough ethanol content.
@@mplsoldguy the idiot running the bicycle doesn't require Sake to ride it.
