How a coach to keeping repeating the same mistakes
Xavi was not sacked by Laporta but by majority of board members who felt that Xavi is not doing enough for Barcelona to achieve its project. They were complaining about how players were trained that is why Barcelona want former PEP physical trainer to take change of training. Some players even went to some board members with dissatisfaction on how they were trained.

i’ll never understand people who sympathize with xavi’s performance after his first season . He had better squad the next season but got worse and didn’t improve any of the players . Guys I love Xavi and u don’t like the way that he’s been fired. But I is the right choice in the end. Xavi should not have come back on his decision. The trusty is that Xavi has not done too bad, he has a great football IQ and he knows how Barca I supposed to play, but Xavi isn’t a great coach yet. People say Laporta has no plans etc, but even with no plans he’s probably a lot better than these potential candidates that say they have a plan until they come in and give us another Bartomeu. Laporta is doing very well at the economic front that’s the most important thing. Then by hiring Flick, we are getting one if the best coaches available, this is what we need if we have any chance of competing with Madrid: Laporta may not seem to have a plan but he has a brain 20 times bigger than Font. The only person that can compete with Laporta intellectually is Perez.
