Please provide opinions on logical Lens use in any Candid Portrait personal photography, I suggest a 85mm 1.8 lens

I noticed in the first set of shots where model was up against stone wall you didn't go eye level with any shots but the last shots of model in water you went eye level. Is there a reason why you didn't go eye level in the beginning?

This was great Leslie! Always fun and interesting to see how another photographer friend interacts with her seniors!

Great photo shoot, only you have to pay more attention to the background to not to have branches or trees growing out the people's heads.

I like what you did with the leaf but next time maybe try it on the top right hand corner?

I’m going to use this to teach my team how to move... what I call “twitch” in between shots! Vanessa is amazing

Enjoyed your video very much! How do you determine your camera settings for the different locations? Do you shoot in aperture priority?

Why do you use iso 400 w 1/1000s shutter speed?

A student has asked me to take some photos, but I think my lowest f stop is a 3.5 or 4 except for my nifty 50 which goes down to like a 1.8. Any recommendations on shooting with a kit lens up to a 105 or a 70-300mm?

Great video! Did you stick with the 35mm lens the whole time?

Another "photographer" who doesn't think lighting is a thing. What happens on non-overcast days? Imperfect days? High sun?

Lighting is absolutely a thing. This video isn't about lighting but I can absolutely do one about lighting! Thanks so much for your comment!
