    I am praying for you, Ammie!! We have so much in common! I had my first child in the hospital and then two at home. Our third baby is named Alizah! I am praying to have one more child if it is God's plan for my life. Thank you for sharing what God has shown you.

    The after birth cramps hit me hard when I had my fourth, she was my first without an epidural so I wasn't nearly as prepared as I could have been, I definitely need to try some of your recommendations,due in the fall with our 5th baby❤
    Prayers for a good labor and delivery for you and your little one❤❤

      Well!
      And those after birth cramps are no joke for sure! The tinctures help but they are still pretty painful for me!

    YES, belly sleep, please!! Pediatric RN here, so many deformed heads!! So very sad, especially for baby boys. 😢😢😢

      Do either of you have any helpful info on this topic? Due with my first in just a few weeks.

    • @traceyparker1407
      @traceyparker1407 Před měsícem

      @haleycharrier7774 Sorry, sweetheart, I don't have any research. I just know what I have seen. As a working pediatric RN. There are so many malformed heads. I think the presumption of "crib death" by tummy sleeping is very misplaced. Research will NEVER be done. It will affect big pharma's bottom dollar. Yep, I said it. 🤔🤨😒

      @haleycharrier7774 I'm sorry, my comment was removed 😔. I don't feel like I said anything untoward, but it was removed. 😒

    • @AmmieHarris
      @AmmieHarris  Před měsícem +1

      I just have personal experience, like Tracey said research will NEVER be done on this topic bc too much money is made elsewhere shifting the blame to belly sleeping.
      I just have my own experience with my three children.. back sleeping with my first for a few months until in realized it wasn’t actually a concern to worry with. My next two slept on tummies from about week 1-once I saw adequate head lifting and felt comfortable with it!
      Congratulations on your first baby!! I hope you have a wonderful labor and delivery to meet your sweet little one! 💕

    I totally agree, the afterbirth contractions are worse to me than the labor contractions. It’s not talked about enough I’d say.

    • @AmmieHarris
      @AmmieHarris  Před měsícem +1

      Yes!! They are worse for me too! And they definitely caught me off guard after my second birth. My midwife warned me but it was not expecting them to be so rough!

    Have you tried the peroxide on your sofa?...if so, did it work for ya?
    Can't wait to listen/watch your birth story for baby #4!

    • @AmmieHarris
      @AmmieHarris  Před měsícem +1

      Thank you so much, Amanda for the prayers!! And yes I actually did try it! I got the solution sprayed on but my mom was visiting that day and I got busy and forgot to go back and scrub it after spraying it in the couch. When I came back it had already dried and scrubbing was not doing any good! I haven’t gotten back around to it yet after that!
      Do you scrub when it’s still very damp? With a rag/scrub brush? I’ve got to try it again!

    • @amandayeates185
      @amandayeates185 Před měsícem

      @AmmieHarris Yay to when Mom visits, I love it and so do the grandkids!
      Yes, you want to scrub/wipe when it is damp. If it is a really tough stain then you may need to add peroxide directly on your rag and then scrub so that it is less diluted!

    • @AmmieHarris

    Would you ever do a video on transition children into their own rooms?

    • @AmmieHarris
      @AmmieHarris  Před měsícem

      Hi Courtney! I have one from a few years ago! It’s the process of moving our daughter from our bedroom to her room in a floor bed. It’s varied a little with each child but this is the just of what we do. I now do this closer to when my child is a year old.

    How long do you co sleep for? I don’t know how long we should

    • @AmmieHarris
      @AmmieHarris  Před měsícem

      As long as you want and it works for you and your baby!
      With my past two babies we co slept for 8 months with one and 10 months with the other. For us they just got so wiggly no one was sleeping well anymore and they needed their own space. But that can totally depend on the baby and the family! Some families co-sleep much longer!
