Aww thank you Jericha ❤️
Congrats! Our little guy arrived on his due date, last Friday, the 23rd! A perfect home birth after only 3 1/2 hours of labor!!!! Praying for your labor and delivery.💗💙
That’s so wonderful! Congratulations!
I'm so excited to see the new little guy, Julie, and hear your birth story. I love birth stories, especially water homebirths, since those were my favorite births of my kids. Praying for a quick and easy birth and relatively painless. Blessings and prayers for you in this time! Rest up, sweet mama!
Thank you! I will definitely share 🥰
Praying for a smooth delivery and healthy baby!
Thank you!
I used to be an OB nurse. If I were to do it over again I would be a midwife instead. Birth is an amazing thing to be a part of!! 💗 After giving birth, most women get the shakes and it's from the hormonal shift that takes place in your body and possibly also from endorphin release during birth. Some women actually feel cold when they get the shakes others don't feel cold at all but still get the crazy shaking. A warm blanket actually helps it even more than just a blanket. For a home birth, I would put a blanket in the dryer and then put it on Mama after the birth when she starts shaking. I'll be praying for a safe and amazing birth for you and baby. 💗
It’s so true...I’ve been at the births of my friends and sister and I’m always so amazed at the miracle of it!!!
Putting the blanket in the dryer is a great tip
You are just so beautiful! I love you. Have I said lately how thankful I am for you? I’m not going to be shy about it either. 😬
I love you! 🥰
You are so cute! This makes me want to have a home birth! Praying for a safe and healthy delivery for you two. Can’t wait to see little one!
Thank you! ❤️
Hope all goes well and can't wait for baby to come xxxx
Thanks Mary!
Amazing organization, my mom had 8 children born at home. I was an early birth and my dad had to deliver me 😀
Prayers for all of you for an easy delivery and a healthy baby. God Bless you and your beautiful family 🙏🙏💕
I keep waiting for jason to have to deliver a baby alone 😆 Who knows, maybe it would be this one! 🤪
Thank you for your prayers!
Blessings to you and Jason....We are 'all' so proud of you as well as your adoring children !! My granddaughter had a water birth, in a pool...She was a trouper !!! ( She did save the placenta until it fell off...there was a way ...she kept it with flowers...etc... )
All I could think of is the weather is better, candles in the new cabin all your stuff set up in there and have the baby there.....course this might not be practical.....prayers over you and new baby.....🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤
If it had a bathroom I would totally do it! 🥰
So exciting!! That lavender chapstick is my favorite!
I love your hair like that, Julie! ❤️ love and God’s blessings to you and your family, on this upcoming birth!! 💕🥰
Thank you Eileen 💞
Thank you for sharing there was a lot of information, we are planning a home birth and hoping for a water birth. This will be my first home birth with baby 7 due in September. Praying for a safe delivery. 😁
Oh I’m so excited for you! 😍
Best of luck on number nine arriving🌸
Thank you!
Water birth was one of the biggest blessings of my life! I’m surprised you don’t save your placenta! I have done it for my last two, it has helped immensely after with iron levels and momma feels (overwhelming feels!)
Waterbirths have been wonderful for me too!!
@@jasonandjulie such a serious blessing!! I wish every woman could have births this magical, there would be som much less trauma from birth in the world (North America!)
I love following with your family! We are building a tiny house soon (selling our massive one this week!!)
How exciting! It’s quite an adventure 😃
Amazing! Thanks for sharing all this Julie! Will keep you in my prayers over the coming days for when bubba arrives 🙌💓
Thanks Ellie! We’re so excited to finally meet him. Hopefully soon 🥰
Oh I love videos like this. I have so much fun planning birth things. I also keep gum and mints on hand for myself if my mouth gets dry or for others since I usually have people close to my face talking. A good use I found for all the bath herbs was to brew it before I had the baby and keep it in a jar in the fridge and I’d use that in the peri bottle to help heal after birth. I also keep loose dresses and nightgowns for the following weeks after birth so I can easily feed and move and lounge in them in my adult diapers 😂 so excited for you and your new baby to come soon!
4 of my 6 kids have been home births, 3 of those were waterbirths. And I still found this video helpful. I am planning a home waterbirth with my little guy due in August.
How exciting Cathy!
Congratulations can't wait to meet your new baby🥰😇
Thank you!
I loved this! I’ve never had a home birth but I’m considering it for the future. I moved to Idaho recently and it seems more common here.
It’s been a wonderful blessing for me to deliver at home!
You seem basic, like me.
I had the idea for those depends disposable undies for my last birth, baby #7, this past December. They were THE BEST! So comfortable. I used them before birth, when my water broke, and after, of course!
I pray you have a amazing birth and get to kiss your sweetie soon!

Thank you Ashli! 🥰
I hope a pkg.I am sending u arrives in time congrats on your new birth
How sweet! We’ll keep our eyes open
❤
Those are instruments in the sterile package inside. Umbilical scissors and clamps.
FYI I’m glad you’re part of the team.
Have you heard of Andrea Mills from the Mills Family videos? She home birthed her 7 of 8 children. On her 9th pregnancy she fell ill and baby and her passed (nothing to do with her pregnancy). She drank something before each birth for less bleeding. She also home remedy a lot with many herbs and such. I’m thinking you’ll like her videos.
Yes she was one of my favorites. I had just given birth to Lydia when she died and I grieved as if I’d lost a friend 😢
I wish you’d video the birth I’d love to see it because way back when I had my 2 they put me to sleep.
Curious how they keep the water in the birthing pool warm for hours?! Looking forward to meeting the newest Kreke! God bless!
Pretty positive they just put a blanket over it to preserve heat
They dump in buckets of hot water as needed to keep the temperature consistent 😊
Exciting times; excuse my possible dumb question. Will the baby receive the eye drops that traditional births require
We’ve always opted out of them
Those underwear from the midwives....I'd wear those all the time if I could get my hands on them. 🤣🤣🤣
Lol yes
Not sure why would someone not want epidural 🤷🏼♀️best thing I had during birth with no side effects
A short amount of pain is worth it for me to have a drug free birth for my baby
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with choosing an epidural but I really wanted to feel what my body could do. I also wanted to be able to move as I wanted and I didn’t want to increase my chances of complications that come with an epidural. I ended up being being transferred to the hospital and being put under for an emergency c section but I’m so glad to have experienced labor and pushing It was just incredible. I know that’s not a desire for every women, though. It’s also WAY cheaper to have an out of hospital birth. My prenatal care and birth was going to cost $3500. My c-section and hospital stay was nearly $40,000. I paid $12,000 out of pocket😱
There are side effects from epidurals. One being, more women tend to tear. The reason is because you can't feel what your body is doing and letting the baby come at its own pace. You should watch a home birth documentary.
