肥媽Maria Cordero CZcams - August 22, 2020 Recipe English Version Garlic-Salt Chicken Legs with Watercress Ingredients: Chicken legs Garlic salt White pepper Olive oil Butter Mushroom seasoning Watercress - washed and rinsed well Sesame oil Shaoxing wine Garlic Tip for storing garlic - Ground garlic and mix with olive oil and put in a plastic freezer storage bag. Use the back of a knife and lightly divide into small cubes over the surface of the plastic freezer storage bag. Store in the freezer. DO NOT store in refrigerator. Break a cube of garlic whenever a recipe calls for garlic. Methods: 1. Remove the skin of chicken legs and pound flat with a meat mallet. This will shorten the marinating time and cook faster. 2. Marinate with white pepper, garlic salt, and mushroom seasoning on both sides. 3. In a frying pan, spray olive oil in the pan with an oil sprayer bottle. DO NOT turn on the heat. Add in marinated chicken legs into pan. Now TURN on MEDIUM-LOW heat and fry until cooked and golden brown on both sides. This will make the meat more tender and avoid “heaty” food from high heat. 4. Optional to add butter for more flavor. Transfer to a serving plate. 5. In the same frying pan with leftover oil from frying the chicken legs, add in ½ a cube of frozen garlic, olive oil, watercress, and fry on HIGH heat to prevent bitterness. Sprinkle in garlic salt, mushroom seasoning, Shaoxing wine, and sesame oil. Stir fry until cooked. Transfer to a serving plate. (Please refer to video for accuracy and clarification).

Garlic-Salt Chicken Legs with Watercress
Ingredients:
Chicken legs
Garlic salt
White pepper
Olive oil
Butter
Mushroom seasoning
