We sailed out of Tampa in a cabin like you have but we didn't know the deck below could see inside the cabin. We were fogged in and didn't leave Tampa till 11:00 PM so never saw the deck below. Needless to say if anyone was down below they may have seen things that they shouldn't have seen...WHOOPS. The curtains were closed at night from then on :-) The huge drink's straws look like the smoke stack...so cute.

Dee I like your hair cut & your shirt. We did the Pride out of Baltimore in Dec. 2017. Was very cold until we reached south. We had a good time and loved leaving out of Baltimore because we got to drive there since we live in VA. Love your vlogs. You are such an amazing couple. We go on our first cruise in 2 years a week from today. Explorer of the Seas out of San Juan. I am so scared something will go wrong and I really need this cruise. You make it look so easy! I recognize everything and everyone on this video, because I was on the Pride's first cruise out of Baltimore on 09/12/21. Embarkation, debarkation, and the muster drill were the quickest I ever experienced. We also left port two hours late because they didn't want any surprises occurring for embarkation. It was fantatic!
The higher ranked card members are allowed to go first to your room as well as faster to the fun. The Baltimore Muster drill on deck 3 is downright brutal in January!☃️⛄️🌬💨❄️ and I love in the North!
Yay, the gangway is fixed at the terminal! It was (still) broken when we got off Grandeur in February 2020 and hadn't heard for sure if they had fixed it yet.

You got Frog Balls!!!!! (no frogs are injured in the making of frog balls, they are coated chick peas and fried) I like how they do the "photo wall" which is now on the screen. We were on the Miracle photo wall from the RFP. We loved the wait staff.

Great video! Question - how do you tell on the deck maps that the stateroom you picked out has that view? How would you know you are just between the two lifeboats?
If you check out the Carnival Spirit class deck maps online, they show the outlines of the lifeboats on Deck 4, and you can see which rooms would peek out through the gaps better than the others!! :D

Room 4111/4112 are right at the end of a lifeboat giving a bit of a view of the water below and some sky next room over where the map shows a block in between lifeboats is a bit more open......I should keep my opinions to myself though as now I’ve let the cat out of the bag! I’ve had 4111:on the Pride and 4112 on the Miracle. But that was when,they had a door going outside to nowhere.
So happy that this post came up love watching. My husband and I have been on a bunch of cruises Carnival and Royal only. Royal all big ships Allure 4 times, Oasis, Harmony. Carnival fascination, fantasy, destiny, valor, sunshine which was destiny, dream. The gift was awesome I smiled just like you guys did. 😊

Thank you for not taping in the cruise terminal. I know vloggers want to capture the moment but I do not like it when I am working and somebody shoves the camera in my face. It is not allowed in our terminals in Tampa due to security reasons. But people do it anyway and get upset when I remind them that it is not allowed. I do not want to ruin their fun but its not allowed period! And thanks for the Baltimore memories. I worked there for five years and never knew the cruise port was next to one of the old BG&E power plants on Gould St. This was from 90 to 95 and do not think Carnival was sailing out of there yet but not sure. Excited when the Pride gets here to Tampa in Nov. Maybe I will get called back to work at the port. Love your channel and vlogs.
I think the pride is going to be my next booking I like the fact that you don't have to wait for a special time for muster drill, you can get it done and over with.

I went to David's in 2006 and it was the most I have ever eaten in my life to this day. Best food I had ever had.

Yes, you have to show your vaccination card in order to board the ship. Right now, the teen clubs are open but the clubs for younger kids are closed.

These interior cabins are on Deck 4 of the Spirit class. We haven’t found them on any other classes of ship. Love em!! :D
