The Guardsmen and their Armored Support took a lot of casualties and by the end we only saw the Imperial Fists Space Marines left clearing the enemy out.
yeah that's how that goes most of the time but its just the imperial guard that's what they are supposed to do just die.
I am surprised how much damage they did. They performed better then the Star Wars factions do and my expectations of them destroying some tanks and space marines where a thousand clone troopers couldn't were very low.
I'm not sure standard Imperium military doctrine was really well-reflected by the Space Marines just kind of aimlessly milling around in front of machine gun nests firing one shot every minute or so while absorbing a dozen bullets per second lol. The Imperium AI seemed really sluggish and passive aside from the tanks.

Mod programming and coding can be like that.
I think a large part of it is that the Star Wars mod for whatever reason has extremely low accuracy on nearly ever unit.
Actually the clones have no artillery, almost no heavy weapons and poorly designed tanks can’t say I am surprised at all
Thats because Earth factions have really good artillery in comparison to the SW factions that only get the UT-AT, AAT-mounted HE launcher and AT-XT to an extent.
An example I would use for camera angles I believe Diplex Heated did good showing the scale of the battle. Plus the way Irongaming 40k showed his fights can was good as well when showing the more local combat.
I will make a video from that angle and after that I will make a poll vote on the community. Let's see what the majority of those who watch the videos prefer. For me, the point of view recommended by you would be fine, it would reduce my editing time. I think the video will be tomorrow.

Thanks. I think it would be a good idea. Sometimes less is more and if being too cinematic sacrifices the battle sometimes it isn't worth it.

Well crafted battle large scale engagements and beautiful map
Only down side being the camera, sometime we had fires being shots just outside of the camera filed with the focus on an empty street

If you ever want to do like recent day equipment and Men of war assault squad 2 a good mod I can recommend is Red rising or cold war
I wish you would have the camera at a higher angle where we can actually have better view of the scale of the battle not miss so much of it. The camera passing through the combat was missing alot of the battle.
I use this style with many cuts between moments to give a cinematic look. Maybe in the future I will also do POV with a high angle.

How'd you get the WH40K mod to work with basegame factions?
I tried and it worked, in the editor of course
Enjoyed it but too much slow mo and panning shots, which also make the video have little sense of direction or battle progression.

Not because the Warhammer mod from MOWAS2 is not compatible with modern army mods, and the Warhammer mod from Call to Arms is no longer functional.
