    As always, I love your video's. Especially your "how to" vids. Just want to point out where you depict the left and right harnesses (7:00 min mark) you have them labeled backwards. Complete opposite of the included Fuse box instructions.

    Chris, I'm looking at the instruction sheets for the Show Chrome's isolation fuse block (#52-942) with supplied right side and left side connectors. Their figure #5 clearly illustrates the wire for the right side as blue and yellow and the left side as red, orange and brown. This is completely opposite from your video at the 6:59 mark. Please explain.

      If you watch the video carefully you’ll see that Cruiseman does install the sub-harnesses on the correct sides of the bike which agree with Show Chrome’s installation instructions. Somehow he managed to reverse them when pictured in the video.

      The Dude Not sure I agree it’s been corrected. When Cruiseman is connecting the sub-harnesses they’re each on the correct sides. But when the video gets to the shot showing the two sub-harnesses together, side by side, they are labeled incorrectly. At least that’s how I see it.

    Great video. I got one and installed it specifically for a brake light to replace the rear reflector. I also discovered a DO NOT device. I installed a J&M CBLU-GL1833 wired adapter, gives you wired headset connectors. I used the power ports and the switched power port positive terminal. Everything looked great until I keyed up the CB. It streetched and howled on everyone's CB on the same channel I was transmitting. I am not saying that I would not like to do that some times but 99% of the time I want them to hear a clear voice. Bottom line: install the J&M CBLU-GL1833 exactly the way J&M says.

    I'm a little upset. I installed the fuse block today, only to find out that it's for a 5-pin wire harness. You don't have brake lights, if your trailer has a 4-pin flat system. Funny thing is that Show Chrome sells a 5-pin to 4-pin adapter for another $43.00. It looks like I either buy the adapter. or re-wire my trailer to 5 wires. I may just rewire the trailer, just so Show Chrome or Big Bike Parts doesn't get any more money from me.

    • @cdjonesus
      @cdjonesus Před rokem +1

      I would also have to agree with this. I didn't read instructions since the video is so complete, and then followed the labeling on the video, which was reversed. I checked everything with a 12 volt tester after it was wired up and left blinker was right, and right blinker was left. dang. Hope I didn't cut the wires to short so I can reverse them w/o any problems.... Why read the manual when someone who you trust is showing you how to do it..... Anyway, great video other than that. Should I remember that Left is Right, and Right is Left, or just correct the problem right now..... Going to correct it. Interesting to note, that the Keyed 12v signal on the can bus must be on either connector, Left or Right. the key signal worked when I tested it and the blinkers were reversed, so I am assuming that when I switch the connectors to the other side the keyed 12v power is also going to work. Since I have made some edits to my comment, maybe Crusiseman can edit the video and correct the misinformation about wiring up this product. I watched his recent video on Jan 20, 2023 about replacing a dead battery, and he isn't even using this accessory on the white bike. Anyway, a correction to the video showing the correct wiring of the harnesses would be appreciated.

If using the Trailblazer modulators, did you plug the isolator fuse block harness in closet to the rear of the bike, then into the Trailblazer, and then the Trailblazer into the bike harness closet to the gas tank? Or vice versa? 2. When using the butt connectors, did you clip off the small rubber ends of the loose wires coming from the isolator fuse block's harnesses? Thank you for your time.
