This movie was just an ad for Renee Rapp and it's so obvious. 😂 All of the other characters had songs that were shortened or completely removed.

-Tina Fey was never part of the home to video movie Mean Girls 2.
-The 2004 MG movie transitioned to Broadway and was a hit there.
-This movie is an adaptation of the Broadway show. Not a sequel or remake.
-And lastly, it was amazing
just because it made 33 million doesn’t mean that audiences liked it LOL that just means lots of people went to SEE it

"Amazing" is a stretch
It was not amazing. If you’ve listened to the broadway musical’s cast album, there’s a clear difference in quality in both the orchestration and vocals. The movie adaptation really should have had musical theater actors in all the lead rolls and shouldn’t have tried to pop-ify the music.

I myself felt the music lost all of the “Showtune” sound of it, as well as most of the energy, and humor that was in the musical. It’s fine in its own right though, I just wouldn’t call it a proper adaptation.
in all honesty ( i'm a little biased cause i adore renee ), but i feel like she played such a great genuine teenager mean girl. like, you're not really afraid of her, but she makes people feel bad. if that makes sense lol

Renee was the only one to do her character justice. Obviously she wasn’t as good as Rachel mcadams but no one would’ve been. She came close at least.
Gretchen, Janis, Karen, and Damian were also great.
She was nowhere close. Sorry. She was so bad. She didn't give "popular girl". She was too tomboy. I don't understand why they chose her

@@kaveenasingsandcosplays3441 Yeah I heard that. I just think the whole remake in a musical missed so much of the storyline. Even though it's a musical, why change the characters and ruin the essence of the original?? There was barely any connection between the characters. I just couldn't believe how bad the movie was. It wasn't 'Mean Girls' it was 'Confused girls' coz you're still supposed to like and wanna impress Regina and the characters were just not likeable. She was just too nice at the end. Even Cade. OmG. She didn't even have a real transformation. I was so disappointed. They didn't do this movie properly.
Janis and Damian were also great.
I saw this movie with my sister I loved it I hate seeing people bullying this film and also bullying the actors also who are in this movie It's really good I enjoyed it hopefully I can watch it again on paramount ❤❤❤
