    Great job explaining everything and shooting in a way that was easy for the visual instruction.

    Is it safe to stand up off the saddle? Will the bike be damaged?

    I tried your way but i have lockable with key skewer and the rods to have skewers hooked on they were extremely loose wouldn't tie them i guess use the skewer given with machine. Also my cable for Derailleur somehow keeps interfering with skewer head so not sure how ur putting machine in it

    Why to I need the skewer?

      Because the normal skewers on your wheels often are made of lightweight material not designed to support your and your bike's weight. Their skewer is stronger and designed for it.

    How wide a bike can be fitted? 29er with boost thru axle?

      Yes, a 29er can fit - my wife's bike is a 29er and we use a road tire for it. Works well

    What tire pressure should I have?

      I use 100 psi on the trainer even though I'm an 80-85 psi guy on the road.

    By "three full turns" do you mean approx. 180 x 3 = 540 degrees or 360 x 3 = 1080 degrees? I ask because what you did in the video seems like the former but "full turn" is ambiguous and could be taken as 360 degrees.

      Did you ever figure this out?

    • @tomsmolen4490
      @tomsmolen4490 Před 3 lety +1

      A full turn is 360 degrees. But really, the number is irrelevant. Make enough space to get your bike in. Tighten it up so it's secure. Don't overtighten. Center. Adjust tension on roller so that wheel won't slip. Don't overtighten. They use numbers because vague directions like the ones I just gave still leave some folks wondering. But my directions are the general idea.

    Question? Why can't we use the bike's own skewer?

    • @dox1726
      @dox1726 Před 8 měsíci

      The skewer provided is reinforced so its safer to use with this trainer.

    You missed one thing. Get on the bike and ride it. That is what it is for. Other than that, good video.
