Tyson is a true boxer who has developed that art of defence and offence, he is a top class exponent of boxing.
Whereas Deontay is a offensive boxer with a devasting punch who has not quite developed the art of defence.
Clearly proven in the trilogy of fights they had, where Tyson won the majority of rounds but was caught a few times
in each fight. The result was resounding wins for Tyson Fury in the 2nd meeting and the 3rd meeting with a KO,
and a controversial draw in the 1st when most, including many top ex professionals stated Tyson won on points.

You don't have to be a good technician as a hw. Hw's are big and more often than not, also not very agile(aka easier to land on) Fury is the exception as he's very elusive for a big guy. Just having power and a method of delivering that power is far more important as a hw. Fights don't usually go 12 rounds at HW so it doesn't take a genius to understand that being able to stop your opponents by just landing a couple of times in 12 rounds is far more effective than trying to outbox your opponent for 12 rounds while hoping to not get hit by a puncher in the meantime. The ring is small, and it's almost impossible to avoid a power punch from theese guys over 12 rounds as Fury found out the first time. And guess what, Fury even took a couple powershots in the rematch.
