Wilder vs Fury 2: Tyson Fury defeats Deontay Wilder | HIGHLIGHTS

- čas přidán 7. 10. 2021
- The tables were turned on February 22, 2020 when Tyson Fury stepped into the ring with reigning WBC Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder. Their first fight was an epic battle of boxing acumen and unrivaled power.
In their second fight, a larger heavier Tyson Fury pounced on Wilder from the opening bell and was relentless in his attack. Fury's pressure continued to rise into RD3, where he landed a right hand that send Wilder the canvas for the first time in their two fights. Two rounds later, Wilder with what seemed to be a bursted ear drum, would be knocked down again. With his balance in limbo due to his inner ear bloody, Fury landed a two left hands, the second to the body, sending Wilder to the canvas again.
Wilder, showing tremendous heart and spirit, continuing to fight although visibly adrift due to the busted ear drum. On shaky legs, Wilder was cornered in RD7. Fury landed a flurry of punches, including one big right hand, and then the towel was thrown in from Wilder's corner.
The fight was over. Tyson Fury stopped Deontay Wilder with the help of a white towel, and became THE NEW WBC World Heavyweight Champion.

Deontay : why they stop me?
Coach. : Your ear
Deontay : what?, I cant hear you

That actually looked like a back of the head shot more than it does to the ear.
Blood was coming from both ears... You can see that... That's not good and you see his legs are gone and also he cannot hear properly afterwards 🙈😛
That's fuckn hilarious 🤣

The fact that Fury completely understood how he could take wilder based on the first fight is genius. He called it from the get go. Anticipated wilder would focus on offence and not defence, so decided to throw everything at him as he can't box defence. Brilliant.
Was this the fight where Fury said as long as he has Wilder stepping back as he fought he would win?
@@bebopong probably
He punched him in the back of the head repeatedly, that was his strategy
@@Schlex that was his strategy? Take it you watched a different fight to everyone else. Stay salty.
He was outclassed X3. The better man won.
You can literally see the fear in Wilders eyes!!! Completely outclassed and outmatched by Fury!!!
Muscles and force vs someone Who can actually fight , ofc hes scared af
Looked more like gene wilder
Yes. He looked scared.
Funny watching wilders facials before and after fury’s first right
He talks too much
Sometimes in life there’s always that one you just can’t beat. Fury is that one for Wilder. He can take Wilders monster punches and is a better tactician in the ring
He was more athletic, Wilder was to slow
All of Furys opponents have that in common.
@@c.w.bookout7506 Usyk will give him a better fight, because he is athletic
Yes. Wilder can and will beat literally anyone in any generation of boxing. But not Tyson Fury.
@@henrygriffen40 yet Tyson will out box him, lay on him and KO him too....
After rewatching this fight, his corner was protecting his fighter to save him from what was to happen, he clearly didn't have that protection this last bout, after he got dominanted and actually knocked out. Sometimes you need to make the decision you disagree with to protect you
He sacked his coach after this match for throwing in the towel to protect him from further damages. That’s was why he got destroyed in the third fight
@@gennaprynze9157
Duh. Thats literally exactly what the op said.
Absolutely! Shame wilder just couldnt accept it. Fury might be one of greatest fighters ever. I actually gained respect for wilder as a bad ass if he didnt come up with all those ridiculous excuses. Funniest one was someone poisoned him! If he was poisoned then wouldnt breland stopping fight be right thing to do? Lol.
@@gennaprynze9157 This one was even worse though. Far more obvious he was second away from a KO.
@@92clintonr To be fair @dnamc4life's comment was written so badly I had to read it twice to understand what they were on about
If the trainer hadn’t thrown the towel in, we wouldn’t have gotten Fury/Wilder III. One of the most exciting fights of all time.
Yep, then they fired him instead of thanking him
But we could have seen his death!!!

What's sad is that Fury didn't do it at all last fight because his elbows were horribly injured.
Man. This is the best Tyron Fury version. He looked really light in this fight 👑☝️
He was 100% in the best shape of his life. The 3rd fight he was out of shape and still got it done. But this Tyson fury might just be the most unbeatable heavyweight ever. Like honestly he’s just so big but also so fast and in such good shape.
I disagree fury got heavier to take wilder shots and those clinches were pretty draining imagine after taking a heavy shot or landing 1 your self a heavier person then clinches you anytime wilder tried clinching he got easily outdone
He hit him with an overhand right.
@@victorojianwuna7444
Boxing is a sport where people hit eachother, what do you expect.
Fury switched trainers for 2nd and 3rd matches. he wont to Kronk and trained with Sugarhill Steward. they opted to press the action instead of outboxing like the first fight. they noticed Wilder has a hard time fighting on the back foot. if you can take away his big power shots, you can win.
I bet Wilder still feels those punches from fury to this day!! To this day!!!!
As ur momma still feels mine!!!
@aaron figgins was it big? Did you like it ? Haha
🤣👊
😂😂😂bruh nahh why Im hearing wilder yelling it

Fury is simply better, without question.
the RIGHT statement
Wilders legs were gone after the beating Fury gave him in the first round, he had never been hit that hard, that many times.

@@michalrybar3843 Yeah, what is this, boxing or something?

There should be more camera angles. I swear i'd watch each of their fights 4 times each from each angle of the ring
Seconded!
Football they got cameras in the at the goal line, above the play, the booth plus the regular cam action. U figure boxing would figured this out by now
You just thought up a really good idea my friend.
After watching this fight it amazes me how they decided this should be a trilogy. The first fight shouldn’t have even been a draw, fury clearly won, and the second wilder got annihilated
Third fight was worth it
Actually the first fight was very close if you look at the punch statistics as well as the fact that fury wasn’t really landing anything significant and wilder had 2 knockdown rounds one of which fury was lucky to not be counted out by a slow count
@@yahiakamel2747 Independent fight studies proved that wrong and even with the knockdowns Wilder still got outlanded and outboxed; if Fury wasn't landing anything significant then why did Wilder's face look the way it did while Fury looked more pristine in comparison?
Fury was still dictating the pace of the fight even during the rounds he got knocked down.
@@yahiakamel2747 I thought it was 10-2 Fury. 116-111 Fury. He only lost the two rds that he got knocked down. You could maybe give Wilder 1 more rd but not enough to make it a draw.

Bro the 3rd fight was fucking amazing Congrats to the gipsy king and that beautiful knockout on the 11th
@Versatile Wolf didn't you watch tyson fury vs wilder 3?
@Versatile Wolf third fight was great because Wilder had Fury hurt in one of the rounds. Knocked him down twice. Fury came back and took care of business though. I’m a fan of both fighters. Beasts
@@dbodooley Wilder wouldn't have gotten anywhere had Fury not been dealing with his daughter's death and her being on the ICU on top of horrible injuries though.
@And The Salt Spreads His daughter did die. She was dead for 3 minutes before being revived.
Been a fan of boxing for quite a long time and I always noticed that eyes don't lie. You can see fear, intimidation and worry reflects on whoever felt the pressure. Deontay's eyes was so different whenever faced with Tyson.
I see the exact same thing! Facts
That towel is the only reason WIlder finished this match on his feet.
5:10 That ending and Fury's ability is so underrated. Look at Tyson's upper body. After throwing the jab and then the 1-2 it looked like Fury was moving back. But rewind and watch it again and look at his feet. He didn't move back, he moved in! Look at his left foot. At the start of the jab Tyson's left foot was on the S of the ESPN logo. And then he fainted backwards, but moved his feet even closed to Wilder!
That is what has always made Tyson one of the best - his footwork. It's so underrated in boxing. People just looks at the hands. But a boxer with great footwork is a great boxer!
You, sir - are completely right. His footwork against Klitscho was absolutely insane as well. Most people say that was a boring fight but I completely disagree.
That was great footwork. Stepping off his back right foot he was able to throw that combo with power. Not that he needed to. Wilder had vertigo and the whole room was spinning.
Damn, another Tyson making boxing history :)
He was named after him
the body punch that fury connected with at the 4:11 mark that knocked wilder down...vicious asf.
Yeah, Fury's body punches are nasty

Out-boxed and Outclassed.
Looking back, Fury was fitter in the second fight than in the third.
Professor Emmanuel
You are right.
Agreed
Way fitter my friend. His father hasn't made it a secret. Fury only had 3 weeks of solid camp. His daughter was born still and was dead for three whole minutes before being revived, after which she was on the ICU for two weeks. During this, Tyson was in there with her five hours every day praying with his wife and father. That last week was a week away from the fight...
And to top it all off, his elbows were brutally injured. Like, half a year delay level injured. He basically didn't have a jab and couldn't block with them, which is why he didn't back Wilder up and fought so strangely. After the fight he underwent six hour surgery which included bone removal and cortisone injections. His father was heartbroken seeing him get hit so many times when he needn't have had he been in a better state. Begged him not to fight the entire run up.
So yeah, basically life decided to pile a lot of shit onto Fury at a very bad time for him. But he pulled through, as always.

My thoughts exactly. He looked lighter in this fight
His best performance was the first fight cause he was at his lightest in that fight
Why'd you think Sugarhill was pissed at how sloppy Fury was lol. But to be fair, Wilder's trainer put him in the best shape he's ever been in and their game plan threw Fury off for the first four rounds until Wilder gassed and just ran on instinct until Mora waved the fight off.

Him fighting different in the third wasn't by choice, but by necessity. He literally couldn't jab. It's why he threw so many of those weird looping shots. He had to keep his elbows bent, couldn't extend them without grueling pain.

Huge respect to Breland for throwing in the towel. He had to know Wilder not being able to cope with the loss.
Sad how Breland later got accused by Wilder of being bought..etc and his new coach playing into it. Breland is a good responsible coach. Wilder really did him dirty.

This was Fury at his peak, you can see the difference between the two fighters.
Probably his most dominant fight
About this fight, wilder didn’t know he was stumbling, his corner really saved him. He could have ended up like the boxers, he himself has cried about. When in fights like this, it’s pure instinct and motions after a bit, again his corner saved him. I recall watching this fight and his legs was not under him. Fury popped his ear hard and that was the beginning of the end.
