So in that case we should see around 86% of adverts containing only white people. Yet right now the vast majoirty of adverts includes black people when blacks only make up around 3% of the population. Gays make up around 1.3% yet we see them in many adverts where sexuality is irrelivant. Can you explain whats going on?

Even if you stats on demographics were correct (they're absolutely not, since for example in 2019 the UK gay, lesbian and bi demographic was 2.7% and it has likely grown more since then) you are looking at this all wrong. If you were to sit and watch a few hours of TV and keep a tally of every white person to appear on screen, then compare that to a tally of every black, asian, clearly gay/lesbian, etc. person. You will soon realise that the overwhelming majority of people you see on TV in both shows and adverts are white. Is there more diversity in TV at the moment? Absolutely there is! Advertisers are loving being inclusive of all different races, religions, sexualities, etc. and demonstrating that diversity. The problem with 'you righties' is you are constantly looking for something to be outraged by. So, as per this example, you see an advert with a lesbian couple and go off alarming. How many other adverts have you seen with a lesbian couple? Barely any, if any at all, I bet. But the ONE time you see an advert with a lesbian couple, or more than one black person, or an Indian guy in a turban, etc. you complain like the world has gone mad over this 'woke nonsense'. You could just admit you're homophobic and don't want to see lesbians on TV, which seems to be the ultimate problem here and why this advert has offended you.
