  • The Lift Dax Carbon Fiber Hard Hat is the first hard hat that I have ever purchased and I have no regrets!
This hard hat is on the expensive side of hardhats. They always say that you get what you pay for and this is no exception. This hard hat is made completely of Carbon Fiber, which makes it extremely light weight, strong and comfortable. It features an exceptional suspension system by LUX which adds to the comfort, ease of use and adjustability. All of these features come together to create an extremely comfortable, adjustable and safe Hard Hat, ohh and did I mention it meets ANSI's expectations!
Overall I would definitely recommend this Hard Hat if your in the market for one! It is a bit expensive but is well worth the cost!

I busted out laughing at the scratch remark… while I take lunch sitting on my hard hat eating a pb&j with my work gloves on

Great review, but if you're worried about a few scratches on it, maybe you should rethink a few things.

It's comfortable and light, but if you're an electrician or going to be around open panels, don't get this, because carbon fiber acts as a conductor for electricity.

Can Ansi 89.1 class C be worn in Canada. I read some places yes.

I have really been looking into the cf DAX cap and keep adding it to my cart and then never checking out after doing more research lol. Mainly because I see how bad the corners chip off of the cf weave. Which is strange because I have a cf welding hood and the thing is paper thin yet has zero chips on the edges. I wonder if the manufacturer that lift is using for their cf is having issues with how they weave the material together. I have never seen chipping of the edges happen so easily before when it comes to hard hats. A shame because they look better than any other hats out there. I have seen that they offer versions with protective edging around the entire hat so I guess they realize it is an issue.

Sorry but I’m just watching your review and you said this thing is so light it’s like a paperweight that kind of doesn’t make sense of paper where is heavy two way down paper LOL

For the particular project I purchased this for I was running Cat6 Cables on the exterior of a three story building.
I didn't know there was a color code with hard hats for the position the person holds. I just really liked this color combo. I am self employed so I guess the color is fitting 🤔

@@ReggieTECH not really a real code. Just jobsite lingo. Typically people without stickers get picked on bc it means they're rookies

lmao. but there is some truths to it, and in some region colours are coded. Whites are for management, or visitors (the audit, business type,) yellow also for visitors (typically for site visits, or doing field reports,) then blues are contracted workers, reds for electrical etc. those wearing black, cf's, brown, or those with stickers all over them, are places that is less china-esque and more of muh-freedom regions. lol. Seriously though, I've seen and heard safety briefings where they say that post treated hardhats like colour dipping, paint, and even sticker adhesive chem reaction can deteriorate the hat material. Obviously 99% of those in the room looked a bit puzzled but nodded along. But then the officer showed a case where post mortem of a case where the helmet did break and paint was the root cause... and the court case did not rule in favour of the victim due to mis-use. i know right? conspiracy theory of these companies not wanting to pay for damages.

On our job sites we pick out the new guys by looking at the shiny hats. You don’t want a shiny hat guys will think you’re a noob

What do you mean? I’ve been working construction for 15 years most of the time I see a shiny hard hat it just means they bought a new one because the old one was no good anymore. I’ve never seen a “noob” with a Dax hard hat

The brim limits your upward vision. If you weren’t wearing the hat you would have probably seen and avoided the overhead obstacle .

These hats are good. I mean they have their niche and usage in certain industries. Each industry have their favorites. Some prefer to have hats with plenty of adapters, inserts so they can hang bunch of stuff, from lights, ear muffs, visors to some who just likes it vanilla. I like the Kask Zenith range. Eitherway, helmets once they passed a certain price point, its just how fancy they can be, because your basic msa hardhat is very affordable

  • @davidmariscalguzman6474

Bought the same one and never wear it as it hurts my head an was looking for comfort when I purchased. Very disappointed and I never wear mine. My 4 point msa is more comfortable. Been looking for an 8 point suspension for my lift, but can’t find one and have only seen a few people with it so I know it exists. Be nice if someone knew where and direct me otherwise I’d just assume I wont ever be wearing this over priced junk…
