  • The Most Comfortable Hardhat You Can Buy!
    Klein has gone all out with their hard hat and brings to you a product that others have to strive to compete with. There is not another hardhat that I have tried that feels as comfortable to wear all day as this Klein Hardhat.
    Then, on top of that, you have the built in Headlamp holder and the option of 2 different styles of head lamps to choose from. Listed below are all the items talked about in the video. Thank you so much for watching.

    Love your reviews man, always 100% honest. Not many people today know how to give constructive criticism without being ignorant. Well done sir. Thank you for this review. Been looking into a new lid that’s more comfortable. I seen they now offer it with the light and in carbon fiber black. And also now have side vents. Thanks again.

    theres more options on lights now, idk about then. I got a 300 lumen one, theres a 400 lumen one, they also will do both spot and flood at the same time so 3 settings. Then theres a light bar only one that's a couple hundered, high low but only a bar of LEDs no reflectors. More options though. I got the 300 because USB C the 400 is micro usb.

    Check out the LIFT carbon fiber hard hats if you see them.. they are expensive but by far the most lightweight comfortable ones I’ve ever had. No experience with this one though I’ll check it out!

      @@erincook6007 I probably should do a review on it, like you said, it is a bit pricey though. Perhaps I'll hit them up to see if they want to send me a review unit? Never know.

      I went and tried on several hard hats at my local hardware store recently and the LIFT hard hats were not only the most expensive, but was above and beyond, even in just the few minutes I wore it, the most UNCOMFORTABLE hard hat I’ve ever tried! A waste of money IMO.

    How do I recharge the battery on the headlamp

    • @ContractorsPOV
      @ContractorsPOV  Před 4 měsíci

      Which headlamp do you have? There are several now. If it is orange, it takes AAA batteries. Then there are others with micro-USB and others with USB-C.

    Is the rechargable lamp watterproof??

    • @ContractorsPOV
      @ContractorsPOV  Před rokem

      Definitely not waterproof and it doesn't have an IP rating but I have used mine in the rain without any issues. I think if they had a better charging port cover it could have a good IP rating but it falls open too easily.

      @@ContractorsPOV hey, do you know how well they fit on large heads?
      Their headlamps aren't strong enough. 1000 lumens should be the base. But a lot of lights like the Fenix and Olights run way higher lumens.

    • @ContractorsPOV
      @ContractorsPOV  Před rokem +2

      @@Southernboy302 my son is a large fella and has an extremely large head, like ball caps don't fit him kinda large. We set him up with one and with proper adjustment of the suspension, it fit him well and he said it was comfortable. I don't know if that helps, but I don't have any better references.

    • @Southernboy302
      @Southernboy302 Před rokem +1

      @@ContractorsPOV Yeah that helps. I'm between a medium and large in the MSA Vgard hard hats at my work. They sit really high on my head and I dang near can't keep it on my head in the places I work (industrial electrician in an aluminum mill). Most times I just take it off bc if it. Been contemplating getting a Klein or Ergodyne... or maybe even a Milwaukee... but I'm kinda leaning towards the ones without the front brim and having the chin strap would be useful in a lot of situations. I can make a different headlamp work on them. Thanks for your quick reply!

    you must not wear it on the job cause the ratchet tightener is so uncomfortable. there's a piece of plastic that digs into the back of your head. it is so bad that it makes the hard hat unbearable.

    • @ContractorsPOV
      @ContractorsPOV  Před 2 lety

      Weird, I actually have worn mine every day I'm on a job site since I got it 🤔
      I don't use the white one anymore because I bought the black one, but I don't have any discomfort from wearing it. My only issue so far is that my head shape sucks for all hard hats and I have to crank it tight to stay on.

    I hate my Klein hard hat. Constantly pulls my hair out and too much movement in the harness even when it’s tight. Also there is a pointed part kind of rivet where the harness adjustment that stabs the back of my head. I can’t wait till my new one arrives and I can take a hammer drill to this POS for fun…

    • @ContractorsPOV
      @ContractorsPOV  Před 4 lety +1

      totallyfrozen oh my gosh, I know, sometimes I repeat myself way too much, or maybe I say the same thing over and over or many times I will regurgitate the same information many different times in the same video. It is tough for me to do a video and not repeat myself, pretty much boils down to the fact that I love to hear myself talk and this is mostly done by just saying the same thing over and over again. I really appreciate you pointing this out, I will try to spread out the repetition in future videos so that it doesn’t appear so obvious. Thanks again for pointing this out, I don’t think I would have figured it out otherwise. I am grateful that you pointed it out.
