This week, on Florida Sportsman Project Dreamboat, Brian and the fiberglass crew at MCU continue grindin’ and glassin’ on the 18 Boston Whaler project; part of the MCU team heads for blue water, skippin’ out for a day of tournament fishing; and FS Boating Editor George LaBonte heads out with Emma Thomas aboard her custom runaround, to discuss how she fully restored the boat from the ground up.
Emma's boat project is awesome! What a great dad to lead her through the process.
Congrats to Emma, what a sport! Good on her stepdad on giving just the right encouragement and guidance and helping her push all the way through until it was done. Learning that you can do anything as long as you take the task one step at a time and persevere is an amazing life lesson. And good on Florida Sportsman for covering the story :-)
Emma......fabulous job......You did something most "PEOPLE" would never even attempt.....let alone finish !!! You will never forget this lesson in life.....that you can do anything you set your mind to.......and learning this as young as you are is so so valuable.......Thank your Step Dad for me too.......makes me proud that there are still good men in the world......and young ladies like you.......Cheers to you both !!!!

I really like this show. I've been painting yachts and doing custom fiberglass work for over 25 years and I can't get enough. would be nice to work there. If I ever move to Florida.

Hard work = well earned success. Great job to Emma, but especially her dad. Hardest job with my kids is watching them fail. I'm sure he seen issues and wanted to jump in rather than explain, example, and oversea. But that's what memories are made of. She will never abuse it or sell it for less than its worth to her and you dad. Jmtc
