Ramen noodles do have a long shelf life but will not be good forever. They do contain some fat which goes rancid, making the food unpalatable. They might survive a year or even two beyond their recommended best by date but the more time beyond that, the more iffy it becomes. I know from experience. Regular pasta containing no fat, on the other hand, has a much better shelf life (stored properly.) One advantage of ramen is the very quick cooking time.
Get peanut butter powder instead of the pre prepared stuff, it has a much longer shelf life because there is no oil (which goes rancid after several months).
For me- ramen noodles, canned fish, canned vegetables, rice, boiled water, raw honey, but no salt, no sugar, no oats, no peanut butter, no powder eggs, no dried Lentils.
Hmmm... exacty which country's government stockpiles these items? For its bunkers for continuity of government? And how does the creator of this video have this information? Peanut butter does not have a very long shelf life compared to freeze-dried meat or dried legumes. Not believing a first world government would stockpile canned vegetables instead of dried vegetables
It's not the general government workers like civil servants, but the people who are aware of possible collapse of systems, and are in charge of maintaining the systems e.g special military units, underwater and remote safe houses, senior government officers and business/rich people bunkers and doomsday shelters etc... if you remember well, government's in 1940s through to 1980s used to maintain very large food reserves for even up to five years supplies for their citizens Incase of an all out war prolonging that period.!
