If anyone is using Blender 4.0+ and gets stuck on the vertex painting part where it says to press shift-K to paint the whole mesh, Blender changed the hotkey to ctrl-X. Just thought this would help someone out since I got stuck 😅

Bevel isn't working for some reason. I followed all the steps up to that point, but the eye dropper won't select the circle and create the tube. I see in the video that the name of the object appears when it's hovered over with the eye dropper, but that doesn't appear when I do it.
for me the tube the tube was too thick , I deleted the tube and followed the steps againa and it worked. the only difference was that my circle wasn't lined up with the head 😫
hi, sorry is there any other cc creators here? I've been using blender for a long time but i notice that they only accept version 3.0-4.1 and i have the 2.9 version. I have tried downloading the 4.1 but it took me to a link to thr 4.2 version instead. Is there a way to download the previous version of blender? Thank you
Do you know how to make curly hair without particles too? I keep trying but no matter what tutorial I follow at some point the spiral is just flat. If you know, can you please post a tutorial?

2:03 I open the file and there's literally just an empty workspace, i've tried multiple versions of blender and exporting multiple different hairstyles. luckily I find it funny for now, but what is HAPPENING to me Hahahahahahahahaha ??
dumb problem but when i open blender the sim and the hair have no texture or idk how you call it, but they're completely gray, i followed all the tutorial up until the texture mapping bc the texture won't show on my stupid sim's hair 😢
it might be because of your viewport shading - press Z and click on "material preview". If that's not coming up, then on the bar that has the edit/object bar, view, select, add, object, etc... options scroll all the way to the right and you should see 4 circles side by side (one that's got lines going through it, one that is solid white, one that is white and gray, and one that's gray with just a little bit of white) click on the third one
I have the same problem and when I click "material preview" the texture turn white 🥲

i need the hairline u used 😭
I've been looking all night for a hairline and there was nothing on it but one thing i figured out that work is if you got to s4s and open a stand alone cas and export the texture for the short shaved hare and you can use that as a reference since it exports as a PNG.

the UV Maps dropdown isn't in that menu either
Did you highlight all the vertices? I haven’t seen recent updates but it does move around sometimes (UV mapping)
@@KISEMA02 I did I realized it needed to be multiple vertices instead of just one
@@calyiavarella1892 Blender is its own beast. I’ve made hair for a while now and consider myself still a noobie. I have gotten to the point where I can work with 3D strands and planes and make a good looking asset. Riggings isn’t too hard but can be tedious. I showed a friend once the resources I learned to use and now she makes bank off selling assets online. Her work is really good.
