Carbon Fiber Two Brothers Slip-on exhaust mufflers. This video does not do the sound justice. This exhaust makes the bike sound like a beast! You need to actually hear it in person.
This video in no way does the exhaust sound justice; bike sounds like a total beast in person! Damn near rattles my Townhome when I start it up; kind of like my Hellcat does on a "Cold Start". Lol😁
I bought a used low mileage 2013 ZX14R, I put a yoshimera r55 4 into 1 exhaust on it it sounds great, you don't need a power commander ,find a shop that can flash the computer you'll get lots more hp
Just an update. I installed the Power Commander-5 with the "Two Brothers" map for Slip-ons and stock filter. The bike runs so much better with a tuner! When you change out the exhaust on this bike, get a tuner or get it tuned! 👍😁
@@robertaleman6084 It had better throttle response and pulled better. If I could do it again though I would have sent the computer to Moore Mafia and got an ECU flash and not done the Power Commander.
Yep a bunch of weight. Hey, did you get a tune for the exhaust? Man, it makes a big difference in throttle response and power throughout the rev range!
Has anyone had a problem with the seat cowling rubbing on the taillight assembly mine has rubbed the paint off and yes I have the rubber stick on foam things that I assume is supposed to hold it up and stop the rub
Yes it’s rubbed the paint slightly on the right side of the bike from the cowl. I’ve removed it when I got it and discovered. Usually keep it off for passengers, but since I’ve seen it rub I haven’t put it back on. Maybe some black electrical tape on the lower part of the cowl would prevent further wear
@@GeorgeFafa If shedding pipes is so critical to your ability to garnish further performance from this already insane machine then you clearly need to get a track bike, or you are a pro racer. For the other 99.9% of us there is no need to replace pipes, unless you are a slave to fashion. I'm not.
@@BibtheBoulder Fok, no you seem to be just another idiot besserwisser out there. I just gave you 2 reasons next to your blinders and far beyond the power, which seemed to me that is all you can see on a bike.
Hey bro I'm getting my 2014 on friday. These reliable bikes? Ive been riding for 5 years and ridden everything, 250s, cruisers, 600s. I even had a buell. I feel experienced enough to get one of these next. I can't seem to find much online about what to look for so I guess they are pretty solid? The one I'm buying has 11k miles. I guess I'm asking is there anything specific to THIS bike I should watch out for on the test ride or when looking it over? I know all the normal stuff like chain, tire tread, oil leaks etc.
I ride mine for recreational purposes, you know just for fun. I don't use it as a daily because the more you're on it the more chances you have of getting in an accident. That's just how I feel about it. If you get one, don't daily it.

The original mufflers weigh 7kg and a little each, ca 15-16 lbs. From a 2013 model.
The only exhaust ive heard that dont sound like a 124cc chainsaw. Actually sounds like a big engine.
The delkevic 18” oval slip-ons with DB KILLERS removed sound great. I have the 18” AND the 9” which are WAAAAAY louder.
Great choice I have the silver series they sound awesome

Where’d you get a r55 exhaust from? Seems Yosh stopped making them!
sound nasty!!!!!!! excellento LOVE THAT SOUND
Looks good bro i got a 2018 zx14r se. Sick bike.
It sounds pretty darn good if you’ve got a Sonos sound system 😉 gets all those low tones. Nice bike! - Amy
Beautiful bike 👍👍👍
Thanks for sharing, great look and sound, I want two brothers on my 14 now, those Coffman shorty pipe that came on it, got to go.
Yep, the Two Brothers really sound good on the 14R. The weight savings from stock is crazy!
Power commander ,trec flys removed, yoshimira full system 2010 first gen crystal red paint I love my zx 14
Very nice

what performance differences have you noticed with the Power Commander?

Real monster..i have the gen1 mod10
Do the clutch mods then the remap/flash .you don't need the power commander. Tuned is better without it.
Nice bike. I have the exact same in the U.K. You do lose a heap of weight as you say by having slip ons. Let's it breath a bit more too, free hp!

I have 2020 ZZR1400 and love the sound from the original pipes.....and with just shy of 200hp really cannot see the need to shed any weight.
Braking and handling...two reasons besides power to shed weight.

They are reliable bikes built welll and can take a lot of abuse. The 14R is made for the strip and track!👍😁
Had my first gen for 12yrs very reliable
Man no reves for us??!
holy chicken strip
@@quadkrazykeith Yep, that's why she never went down.

I use mine daily. I get an extra half an hour in bed it's that fast getting me to work....
Don't start on a liter bike for your first time
start small, 600cc
💪👌
👍
I know the vid is 3 yrs old but get an ecu tune or buy the woolich tune kit...You will be way happier..
Yep, if I still had the bike, I would have sent the ECU to that guy Moore Mafia and gotten a tune. 👍
@@markurbancowboy You can buy your own kit and do it all by yourself without a dyno,if you had the bike or buy another..
How much is you Body weight? 😂😂😂
The exhaust weight is not the major problem🤣✌️😉
I weigh less than the stock exhaust. Lol

Just get an ecm tune, screw the PC crap....you'll not regret it.
Yeah, I saw Chris Moore of "Moore Mafia", download a tune in a 14R with great results!👍

men befor the power commander you sholud do de ecu flash then the power commander
Yeah, I should have done that. I no longer have the bike now though.
