I get annoyed at the criticism of Plastic’s Asian accent - SHE’S FROM VIETNAM, grew up there until she was 14, that’s her normal accent! It’s the American one that’s learned. So them criticizing it is actually pretty racist.
It’s also not fair that they keep calling out Vangie for “not having a character, or only using her personality”, then they keep praising Silky for “letting her personality shine through in the acting challenges”!
It’s ridiculous - SILKY is TOTALLY the SAME PERSON in EVERY ACTING CHALLENGE!!

yes and no, the broken english isnt her normal voice, she speaks fluent english and doesnt use the thick vietnamese accent when speaking it, she can use the accent when she wants as if she was speaking vietnamese, but her english isnt broken so i wouldnt call that her normal voice, she's forcing it. yara sofia's thick accent when speaking english is her normal accent, it isn't forced, i'm sure she'd love to not have it when speaking english
@@MyidolGwen no, a lot of Asians learn to mimic American accents to avoid bullying and teasing from not-so nice people, I can talk to you in English with a perfect American accent, but when I get to sit down with my family, the Asian accent comes out when I speak English to them because an accent is like a fragment of the language that they speak, its much easier to speak with that "broken English" because its reminiscent of their og language. Its easy to say the things you said, especially when you probably have no idea how much a bilingual immigrant has to think about to function from a day to day basis.

Yeah I'm so done with silky. The food thing is old and cheap. We get it; you're a big girl... Boring. And the two times she won a challenge she was basically just being herself: big, loud, black woman. I don't see that as talent. I see it as lazy. That's why I think some have said she isn't talented. It doesn't take talent to do what she does. That said, she knows her strengths and has been using them to her benefit. Even if it is getting really old and it's easy to see through it as covering up her lack of any other talent.

Agreed. A’keria managed to be physically funny without leaving her partner floundering. Brooke Lynn, much like Silky, made it the Brooke Lynn Show, and forgot it was a team challenge.. but then we don’t hold BH to the same standards.
I also disagree that her jokes were all that funny. Save the level 4 vegan comment.
Jesse Andrew I think the reason people don’t hold BH to the same “standard” as Silky is twofold in this scenario. One, BH’s partner was Nina, a seasoned gal in knowing all about improv. Sure they planned on a cue, but Nina could easily do fine without one. In BH’s case I’m pretty sure she got so caught up in having positive reactions from Fortune and Cheyenne that she got tunnel vision in wanting to keep her seeming success at comedy going. I’m sure it was like a high to her, especially considering how badly she bombed a humour challenge in the snatch game. Silky however, doesn’t get caught up in that because she’s used to that reaction to her comedy, so being able to include her partner more is something she could do much easier.
Secondly, this is BH’s first offense at stepping on a partner’s toes. It isn’t Silky’s first offense of that.
The one thing I wish BH really did was wear some tits in her scene. I want at least a touch of drag aside from a wig and makeup.

funny enough... the other day i was thinking about why i wasnt as engaged with manila as i was with trixie mattel. and i LOVE Manila... but i kinda realized that it was bc the connection with the guests didnt show through as it did with trixie, which made the conversations very boring... but TODAY!!! yaaassss!!!

I think Manila acts as a host, where Trixie acts as a co-host and expects the queens to rise to the occasion, which they mostly did. I liked Trixie best, but Manila is getting better at not being so removed from the situation in deference to the guest.
