This might have been the worst reading challenge in RuPaul's Drag Race herstory.
RuPaul, you said that there would be queens everywhere. However, there is one queen that was missed: Jujubee, cause some of these queens need a remedial reading course.

i dont think silky's going home either since the producers have some obvious favoritism towards her, but her getting eliminated is still somewhat possible

She turns the same looks each week, she relies on other queens footsteps (EAT IT - Latrice Royale), is a one trick pony when it comes to make--up (per the judges), and goes to the same joke over and over again (We get it, she's fat and she ain't mad about it). She's getting the producer's edit because it makes good television, the same way arguments between competitors do (Yvie vs. Vangie, Yvie vs. Silky, Rajah vs. everyone). Silky is there to do what she does best, hot the spot light, and not be there for anyone but herself (she said it in the beginning, she's not there to win, she's there to get a television show). She's salty not silky.

On another note, I am happy that this season we really got to know ALL the queens. Soju, Scarlet and Ariel got plenty of screentime and were loved by the audience even if they were eliminated early on.

They robbed Ginger in season 7 so some fans assumed it was because she was a big girl so now the show is pushing for a big girl winner to satisfy those fans but every single one they chose has been hated by fans and it looks like Kandy is going that way as well. In all, blame the teen straight girls that wanted Violet to win.
My thoughts:
1: Brooke Lynn was real mature at acknowledging her own faults in the competition
2. Brooke was also surprisingly funny in the reading challenge
3. Silky's refusal to grow and develop is really a problem because as an artist, you should never stop trying to develop your craft
4. Just when I thought Silky couldn't get any more obnoxious..
5. This was also the first time I've seen Ru bothered by Silky 😂. Maybe they'll actually finally read her for her half-assed runway looks

Agree to everything. Brooke says she ain't a funny queen but she was one of the few that actually made me laugh. Unpopular opinion, I partially liked ONE of Silky's reads, the one about Plastique. If the delivery had been better and Plastique was japanese, it would have been great (I think I might've even worked with a Queen as KimChi, who is an otaku).
@@nathaliaretana2341 yeah there were a lot of jokes that would have been better if phrased differently (not just Silky's but everybody's). Clapping back is a lot easier than coming up with reads that require setup and punchlines So I get it but also damn those reads were rough!
